  1. Came in here to post the same shit. Now if you feel like giving a tech a few decent paychecks to repair all the problems they have then go Acadia/traverse/enclave
  2. Yukon/YukonXL Tahoe Suburban. 2000-2006. I love mine. I bought a 2002 Yukon XL 2WD I picked up for $2900 with 181k back in October/November. Fully Loaded and runs flawless minor body rust. It's also got the 12k on hitch and 2nd trans cooler. Mine is flex fuel as well. I believe around half were. The SUV's are selling for nearly as much as the trucks and can pull 7000lbs (mine). Just got back today from Savannah GA (~750 miles) pulling a maybe 1000lb trailer. Pulled through the mountains like a champ and still rode comfortable with the wife our to kids in car seats and all our luggage and a cooler between the middle captains seats
  3. Personally have an S7 non-edge. 3 guys at the shop have the s7edge and all 3 have cracks in either the screen or back glass. My S7 has taken a beating. Had to replace the wife do to frame, battery, and glass damage, but that was do to getting crushed under the corner of our rocking recliner loveseat. She took mine and I was looking at getting the s8 however didn't feel comfortable with the edge glass. Don't like that there isn't really any protection even with a case.
  4. Boat house at Confluence Park is very good. Last time i went it ran my wife and I $87 with tip. They do a farmers choice (or at least did) that was killer and cheap. https://www.boathouserestaurantoh.com
  5. Ok thanks for the clarification. Hadn't been around one that did it in probably 5 years
  6. Do the newer transfer cases still have issues with the chain slop eating into/through the case? Remeber seeing it all the time on early 2000's half tons.
  7. So don't 9's require cage? My question is how can you use the car for its purpose stock when it's not allowed to run that time
  8. Well not so lucky. Tool it in and had them check it out. Had only the screen and digitizer been bad it would have been $169.99, however the battery was hit as well as the frame. $320 to repair. Said fuck it and paid off the phone and got another S7 under a 2year contract. Got it for a cheaper payment and protection so winds up right at around $150 lost (besides the upfront payment to pay off the phone which I would've paid over time anyway.) I checked out the S8 while I was there and didn't see enough to make me want it over the S7. Hate the curved screen and lack of front protection cases
  9. So stopped in at the Polaris Best buy and checked with the samsung department before I bought a new phone. They said the Morse road location can repair it. He said he believes it's $169 for digitizer and screen replacement. If so that'd be great. I figure it'll be much more than that but we shall see tomorrow when I run down there
  10. Anyone catch the time on the slip? I'm thinking a single digit
  11. Well pretty much came to the conclusion that it's going to cost minimum $250 to repair. Not ready to drop that kind of cash especially since we're saving for vacation. Luckily one of the guys I work with had a spare galaxy s5 laying around so I'm using it till I buy something else. Ended up giving the wife my S7 because I'm a pansy and felt bad for her.
  12. Glad to see you took my advice on Wheel Medic. I'm your tech from Tire Discounters. Thanks again for letting me get on it a little during the test drive. Don't usually get too unless I personally know the customer and have permission. Drive like a gramma on test drives. Gets really bad when your constantly test drivin 500whp+ vehicles from SlowMo and just want to lay into it.
  13. Yeah i saw the one on Morse road can do repairs. I'm just worried they're going to charge half the price of the phone.
  14. So the wife's S7 had an unfortunate casualty of war between the floor and corner of the recliner. Punctured through screen and digitizer. We don't have insurance on it and don't really have the money to purchase a new phone outright short of a low model/brand. Anyone had luck rebuilding an S7? Read a few articles and how to's on replacing them and they say the S7 in particular is very difficult to repair. Also any reputable repair places in northern Columbus/Delaware area
  15. The wife gets the strong mom's rewards with Similac however our newborn is breastfeed. Your welcome to have the sample box and all the coupons she currently has. I'm up in Delaware if you ever come up this way
  16. What's the exaCT game you talking about? Wouldn't mind checking it out.
  17. Just looked. Sorry don't have anything that'd work. Pretty sure I used the one I had in mind. If I find anything I'll let you know
  18. When I get a free minute at work I'll check and see if I may have a random one. Always keep the seals any time I replace old connectors. If so I can stick it in an envelope and toss it in the mail for you un less you come through Delaware
  19. Large picture warning just for perspective. Spotted the Whale tail today. The car is crazy clean. Got brought into us by SlowMo for an alignment. Luckily Anthony gave me permission to see how she did on the rode. Damn quick through 1st and 2nd. Never been a huge Subaru fan but driving his makes me want one. http://i.imgur.com/VW3kg9K.jpg
  20. We've had a really good record with ITM sensors. We can match them to the original sensors or we can write new numbers and rewrite the module to match them. Done several BMW's and mercedes.
  21. Sensor is located in the wheel so requires dismounting. Tom's scanner to read. 99 out of 100 times it seems the tums issue is a failed/failing sensor. Most bigger tire chains/shops should be able to do them.
  22. Illinois and Missouri for sure. Last time I went out that way we encountered several in both states. Mostly chargers but that was also about 7 years ago
  23. No joke. Make more get less back. Wife's best friend made $28k last year and got 5k back. Single mom on welfare
