  1. DeepWood, Elevator, Columbus Brewing Co., Mitchell's, Marcella's, The Top (Bexley). Milestone 229 is supposed to be good as well, but I haven't personally been there yet. Also, Due Amici is weak/overpriced in my opinoin (I've had better food at The Olive Garden).
  2. If you pull the intake, it is highly likely the plastic fuel lines for the fuel poppets are cracked/leaking (motors are batch fire, and don't use regular fuel injectors but rather an injection unit). Very common issue, and will cause starting problems as fuel leaks into the intake.

I'd look into this if the fuel pump ends up not being the culprit. I have fixed several of these. They sell a repair kit at the dealer, and the last time I bought one it was around $100. Fuel pumps are really common though, and as others said, don't cheap out when buying one.

  3. I know this is a few days old, but I just did this last week to my deck. I used power washer only to clean and it did a great job of brightening up the wood. I used Cabot semi-transparent Cordovan Brown and was very happy with the results. I used a 9" roller and backbrushed where needed. Next time I'll use a 4 inch roller as others have said. It took me 2 days to stain it, but my deck is huge. I ended up using 8 gallons total (a 5 gallon bucket and 3 individual).
  4. I know this is old, but I am needing about 20 yards of gravel. Vince, who did you use? I live about 1/2 mile from you (saw the Bimmer as I was driving by one day) and that seems like a really good price. If anyone else has suggestions, please chime in. I'm out past Pataskala.
  5. I pulled the vac. line on the end of the regulator and it smelled a little of gas. But i mean it would smell a little like gas wouldn't it? Or should it not at all? And i have checked the spark it i getting good spark. Thanks for the help so far.

It shouldn't smell like fuel. Was the vac. line wet with fuel? If it was, then the diaphragm in the reg. is shot like Craig said.

  6. I have openly shared what I have heard about the kid, I see no reason to hold back information...

I'm not one to start rumors...

So you don't start rumors, you just propagate them?

  7. My next step would be a reset, I've had it work on a few euro cars that nothing else worked on. Ground the negative battery cable for ~15-30 minutes then try starting the car again.

I've heard of disconnecting the positive and grounding it, but not this. What would grounding a cable whose other end is already grounded do?

  8. I had my '82 Chevy truck professionally converted to R-134 in 2007. The A/C compressor kicks on and off but it's only barely cooler than the outside air. Can I recharge it myself? The shop in Naples, FL that did the conversion said they were able to reuse the evaporator and condenser, just updated pressure switch, compressor, and some lines.

Not opposed to taking it somewhere to get it checked out...hasn't been serviced since '07...

Best bet is to have it evacuated and then recharged. It's the simplest way to ensure that it has the correct amount of refrigerant.

  9. made this last night after watching epic meal time lol

1/2 pound burger stuffed with cheese, bread crumbs and some other spices then put on a nice bun wrapped with a blanket of candied bacon.... and with some Bud light to drink, great late night snack.

Is that The Hamburglar on your plate?

  10. My parents 07 Envoy needs the fuel sending unit replaced due to erratic gauge readings and a check engine light. I already have a new Delco sender. I am assuming this is a pretty straightforward job, but thought I'd ask if there's anything I can expect out of the ordinary.

    Thanks in advance.

  11. Thank you for your presence in this thread. If you're as good with money as we all think you are, this next post of yours discussing currency should hold a lot of value with the members of cr.

    Thanks again,

    Splatty.

Thank you for your presence in this thread. If you're as annoying as I think you are, then you'll continue to put a full page of blank space in every one of your posts.

To the OP, I was interested in a vehicle they had a few years back, but they wouldn't budge on the price so I didn't buy from them. They were going to give me more than I was expecting for my trade, though.

  12. You're doing it wrong if you have to use A1 or other crap. Nice dose of Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper and you're set.

That steak looks like something I shit out yesterday.

I prefer the 8 oz Filet Mignons wrapped in bacon that I bought from Carfagna's for $4.99 each.

    Anything from Carfagna's = Win.

  13. I've heard a lot of people complain about the FM modulators not working so well. A few months ago, I installed an Isimple interface in my 04 Impala SS for my ipod and I've been pleasantly surprised. It was easy to install and I like that I can control my ipod with the factory steering wheel controls. I got the part number I needed from their website and then bought it on Amazon for quite a bit cheaper.
