My 1st reckless got my car towed, an automatic court appearance, 6 points, and some hefty fines, I had to lawyer up to get charges dropped, fines reduced and take a fucking driving class for 8 hrs. I still don't see how a state tropper had all that info and lets you go, the state highway patrol are the worst to deal with, so if what your saying is true then you better quit while your ahead, because next time you WILL get fucked by the looooong dick of the law.

most of the hard shifts are either from a bad front engine mount, or a bad side engine mount

if the connector is burnt then the connector needs replaced, factory part comes with a sub-harness

get me the Vin # and I can tell you what dealer installed it, when it was installed and if the oil jet kit has ever been done. now if the transmission has been replaced the oil jet kit doesn't get swapped over so if its not there that doesn't mean it wasn't inspected. one other thing, if the transmission is slipping it has nothing to do with the 2nd gear recall, that recall was for lack of fluid and the transmission locking up while driving thus creating an accident causing serious injury or death. If you want to do a quick 2nd gear check disconnect the harness from the speed sensor and remove it(sits on top of the transmission next to the fill bolt), use compressed air and blow of the gear, shine a light down and look at the gear to determine. 100% agreed

is the new headlight blown? if not check the harness connectors over time they spread open so they don't make a good contact with the bulb, you may have to replace the connector w/sub-harness, and if that's not it check for an open somewhere in the harness
