Well I wasnt trying to imply that its a super car by any means but, the description above ^ pretty much explains what I mean. And yeah, Ive finally accepted the whole waiting thing. My only real goal was trying to get it before summer so that I could have a little more fun when we go out on cruises and track days but, I guess its not that big of a deal. I dunno, Im a little drunk and bummed out anyways so whatever. And I appreciate the feedback that you all have given, its actually made the situation a little better. Well thats kinda true. In my case, I had always known that there were some pretty damn fast cars out there but I had always figured I couldnt afford one. So for a little while I thought that a 14 second sentra wasnt too bad. Then I started hanging out with some of you guys and now I realize that a true sports car is fairly easy to get. So I guess I have finally learned my lesson and its time to fix it. Dont get me wrong though, I still love my car to death and regardless of what you guys say, it is a fun little car to drive. Im just ready to be a grown up now. lol

Thats exactly how I feel about it. I think it would do ok year round. Plus I work at a tire shop and I get a good deal.

Ive only had it for about a year and a half. I bought it for 10k with 40k miles and a new motor. It was a decent deal at the time. It was also valued at 12.5k at the time. But that sure didnt last.

Yeah, thats why I didnt do it. And of course the salesguy was talking about how the car was marked down enough to where even with the extra amount added to the new loan, I would still be positive on the gto. I had to explain to him how that was great and all but, I didnt feel like continuing to pay for the sentra if I no longer had it.

Well the salesguy made a good point about how the majority of people have negative equity on their cars, especially since the value of almost all of them is dropping. I actually had positive equity in the car about 8 months ago.

Just dont buy an acer. I made that mistake because I dont know shit about computers and I didnt have anyone to warn me otherwise. It worked great for a while and its still decently quick but, it does all kinds of weird shit all the time. It has recently been replaced with a macbook and I love this thing.

Well change the oil and see what happens as far as the noise and performance issues. I recently had a mercury villager come in that had oil so thick that it wouldnt even drain out of the engine, I had to scoop the shit out. I eventually got everything cleaned out and had to change the oil like 3 times before it was even remotely clean. It eventually started to run ok which was a shock to me, who knows, maybe you can get lucky too, or maybe not. Good luck.

Yeah, if only I hadnt been blinded by the powers of the all mighty rice! lol. Well Im learning my lesson now. If you want well rounded power, handling, and daily reliability, get rice. If you want to go fast, get domestic. hehe. J/K.

Well I already considered the whole driving in the snow thing and I figured that it would do as well if not better than my current car. The goat has traction control and abs, my car has neither so that would be a plus. And the goat should get between 18-25mpg with the type of driving that I do and my sentra only gets 20-23mpg. So its not too big of a difference. I think Im just gonna put all my extra money into paying off the sentra and just keep it for a daily driver and then get a "grown up" car eventually. Either way this is poop cuz I really liked it. I guess Im gonna spend another summer being slow. Or maybe Ill boost the sentra.....NOT!

So I went and finally test drove a GTO today. It already had a K&N intake and a flowmaster catback. This car is super clean. So after driving it I decide that I really like it and I would like to buy the fucking thing. So I do the credit check and all that shit and every was looking pretty darn good. BUT, thanks to the lovely decline of our economy and the HUGE drop in value on my sentra, I now have a shit ton of negative equity on the fucking thing and cant afford to "roll over" the extra amount onto the new loan. Now Im fuckin pissed off and Im still driving a sentra. That is all.

The best part is that you're really good at it. Maybe you can teach some of the other guys a few things.
