Im pretty sure Delaware Meats uses grass fed. Im not 100% though. My job buys us steaks and burgers from there every 4th of july and they are awesome. From what my boss told me, they kill and butcher on site so its very fresh.

So the other night I started to clean up some wiring and resplicing some of the previous owners "repairs". Then tonight i sanded down some more pieces to prep for paint and got the first coat on the tank but, ran out of paint. Ill get pics up soon when its finished. I also picked up a repair manual tonight so I can get some more of the wiring figured out and get things torqued properly when going back together. And I think ive figured out my lighting hardware for the turn signals and headlight, just got to get the funding together. Hopefully have more updates soon. The plan is still to have it on the road by the end of the month if things keep moving along like they are.

Its an 87. What size is the s&s? Its got a mikuni 45mm on it and I think its a little much for the setup (atleast thats what Ive been told). If you have a pic of the hard tail and tank Id like to see it, Im not too familiar with these things so Im not sure what it looks like. Im also looking for front brakes (which he said are form a dyna), a brake lever, smaller aftermarket turn signals, a big ass head light, solo seat, and possibly wheels. Let me know what you got.

I don't know about all that but, thanks. Unfortunately it may take a little longer than planned because of a lack of fundage. I wasnt exactly ready for a project yet but, I'm trying to make it work.

Just some cheap 2 for $5 primer from advanced and duplicolor wheel paint. I've used this paint before and its pretty tough. They have a nice clear available that's made for this paint but, I won't use it cause I don't want to be too shiny. Even the other duplicolor auto paints are pretty tough. I'll just have to wait and see how it holds up against the road.

So, the test piece turned into a bunch of pieces. I liked the look so I kept doing a little more and a little more. Its looking surprisingly good so far especially for what will end up being a quick $40 paint job. I will probably have everything redone next winter but, this should get me through this season looking a little better. Let me know what you think. Just cant decide between black or tan. I think black would be cleaner but, tan would look a little rougher which I typically like.

Yeah, I got pretty lucky on the deal I think. I was looking at older jap bikes and then this just kinda came out of nowhere. I think I'm gonna try some gunmetal wheel paint on the tins with a couple coats of satin clear so I can keep it cheap and with a rough finish. I'm not a fan of clean, shiny show bikes. Hopefully have pics of my test piece tonight.

And Im gonna be looking for a closer to stock type carb, its got a mikuni 45mm on it and a couple buddies think its too much carb for the bikes' mildish setup. Also, the rear wheel has a slight bend in it so Im gonna just try to upgrade the wheels to some cheap wire spokes if I can find some.

Ill have more torn down today. The paint is alot rougher than the pics show. Ive got a paint gun and will probably buy one of those dupont "hot rod black" kits just to get it all murdered out on the cheap side.
