I threw away the slip after i put it in my book, 10.34 @ 135 tho. New clutch set up, the 2 pass's from yesterday, and the pressure plate is broke. That isnt the worst of it. Oil was milky from yesterdays 2 pass's on fresh oil. Seems the cyl. wall on #8 Is cracked. I LMAO, at your N/A reply... I think your alright even if you do get boosted Ray.. Best pass @ a CR event was a 9.42, a few events ago. Been a best of 9.37 with the car, But after yesterday, My old Heap is a SLOOOOOW turd compaired to all the Fast cars that were there yesterday! i saw Matt make a low 9 pass, but didnt see a 8 sec. time slip from him. Only saw him make 1 pass tho, he was in the lanes when we were leaving. Our POS, was having clutch issues, embarassed ourselves yesterday. lol. only made 2 pass's. First pass i couldnt even stage the car. 2nd pass, staged the car, but as soon as i started bringing the r's up, it pushed right threw the lights. to a 10.4 @ 135 pass..lol... we watched after that, as i didnt have the needed tools with me to correct my issues. As normal tho, we had a great time with the folks of CR. Great bunch of folks that come to the event, and a great bunch that orginize the event! Mike

a very Skilled Super stock racer/eng. builder set Clone's valve train up. it is the JUNK rockers that INDY cyl. head sells that was the issue. what kind of car/truck you refuring too? the Gm 4.3's have normal EGR issues. that are easy repairs. 90% or more Ford's have some sort of EGR code in its history. I haven't seen anyone mention that your fuel mileage will also suffer with out the egr working properly. Mike

been down that road a few times with the Neon's.. most likely the cluster, at least in my case(s) it was... done 3 now.(each time cust. supplied junkyard clusters. just take your time and look for the screws.

some places call it a loaded strut, basically it is the whole assy new. (strut,spring,and bearing plate) all you have to do is unbolt the old one, and bolt the new assy. in. costs more, but you are getting more new parts other then just the strut as well. Mike

GearHead, funny enough, the defective hubs have all been from our Local Car Quest here at Buckeye Lake. It is to the point that when i use there hubs, i hook up my multi meter and test it before i even install one..

I've had a few new hub assy's I have installed have defective (non functioning) ABS sensors in them. the bearing portion was fine, but the ABS light would pop on.. so a defective Hub assy, even tho new is posible. scan it, clear it, drive it for the abs light to pop on again, and then rescan it. that way you'll know whats going on, might even want to drive the car with the scanner conected. My scanner i can read all 4 wheel speeds and see if there is a issue i can see.
