  1. And being a 2000 it may have traction control as well
  2. Hell i drove mine on summer tires and never really had an issue unless i was doing it intentionally
  3. They are one wheel wonders, they arent bad at all in snow
  4. No they arent. They do have a few small differences, but nothing that effects reliability, etc...just the upper intake is different as well as the oil filter placement.. They are great cars. I daily drove mine for a few years with no issues what so ever. The 3.8 is nearly invincible if properly maintained. Has a 4l60e trans and 10 bolt out back, but a stock 3.8 cant hurt them.
  5. Some suicidal jackass decided to climb an aep tower yesterday so the power got shut off and my route didnt get out till after 5 yesterday so i didnt get back till 930
  6. If i can get out of work in decent time, ill be up
  7. Yea not gonna happen lol. The bottom end was stock in that article, nothing else. That 4.8 had heads/cam/fast intake and throttle body. Then the twin gt35r's on like 26 pounds of boost.
  8. Suppose to be pretty good tonight with all the ifo stuff going on
  9. Just do it yourself, its simple. Both of my cars blew out the lower intake manifold gaskets last year winter, so i just did those at the same time. Took me all of about 5 hours per car and thats with no power tools. Cant imagine just doing the valve covers would take any time to do
  10. so im fixing up this dell computer for my parents before i go get my own.my dad mention that it needed a new cd drive because it wouldnt read. decided to check the drivers first and of course it says they are corrupt. tried updating them and it just says they already are. tried uninstalling them, but it seems as if it just hides them? (hit "find hidden files" and it pops right back up as corrupt). I have also tried manually searching the web for new drivers, but the only thing that seems to come up are these driver detector programs, but even they just say its up to date and wont let me do anything. what do i need to do to fix this thing? lol by the way its windows vista
  11. question though while im thinking about it, anyone have any experience with alienware? always wanted one and it seems like there prices have come down a bit over the years
  12. guess ill be checking craigslist as well to see what i can find. appreciate the help guys.
  13. those are epic, 24 gb ram lol. i think i might have to put a bid in on the last one $124, only has 2 gig of ram, but does have a 256 gig ssd. not mention if uses ddr 3 ram, ive got about 4 gigs worth sitting here already lol
  14. Ram isnt a huge issue if thats what it comes with. Its fairly cheap and easy enough to replace, but thank you, ill be checkiing it out
  15. Thats what i was wondering. Has windows at least come down in price? The last time i bought a new copy, was like $300 lol
  16. Yea i looked into the free windows 10 upgrade, but it looks to be only if you have windows 7 or 8, this thing still has vista on it lol
  17. Ive just been using a a little older dell my parents had, but its seen better days lol. Its been awhile since ive been into computer stuff or even really looked at it, so whats decent stuff/specs these days?. Found an hp over at best buy with an amd a8 preccessor, 8 gig of ram and 1 tb hard drive for 350. That a pretty decent deal? Or can you still build em cheaper yourself?
  18. This. My ls1 makes 350, but just read the other day about a company doing tunes on the new v6 camaros and making that or even a little more with just the tune lol
  19. Looks cool and all, but needs to ditch the lt4 for a 600 hp na 7.0
  20. Oh cmom old man, you know you wanna come out for a few lol. Ever figure out the trans issue in the ta?
  21. Ill be there, good reason to get the goat out lol
  22. Yep, that is awesome. Im curious what all it takes to get one in the 10's. Cant imagine much lol
