Right now id like to have something at least cause the fiance drives it and the outside keyhole/ locks like to freeze up in winter and i like to make it easier on her if she has to take the baby with her. Anything michelin. My bonneville had some decent goodyears on it when i bought the car, but i had a set of michelins on my firebird that i ended up swapping around. It made a huge all around difference in the car. Cant remember what tire they are though

What is the fastest supercharged car run? I know ive seen 9's but just curious seeing as the big blower copo has gone 8's so maybe this gunning for it?

Really need to know what car and mods before i can really say if thats right. Alot of guys will say that whatever you gain on your 60', will pretty much double at the end. Meaning you drop a tenth off your 60, its for 2 tenths overall. Now i dont believe thats always true because it depends on the car/power/setup, but going by that, even if you dropped down to a 1.5 60', that would put you in high 10's which still seems slow for 130 trap speeds.

with holding judgment till we see what it can do, but so far with all of the new technologies it has, its still a 6.2 that only makes 14 more hp than an LS3 and is more than likely gonna cost quite a bit more to mod, im unimpressed

I had some jackass try this to me and my dad before. We were out in the driveway working on my car though, so the guy just stood there and kept talking. My dad told the guy he wasnt interested, but it didnt seem to matter. At this point we were working inside the car, so this guy felt the need walk up next to the car, and honestly if he could have fit, i think he would have tried to get in. We finally just shut the doors and started the car so we couldnt hear him lol. Best part of it though, the guy got down about 2 more houses to this older gentlemans house, and the cops showed up. Come to find out that the house he went to right after mine, he was told to get off the property and basically refused. So the home owner called the police and told them there was a large black man harassing him. Seeing as we live in an old folks neiborhood, cops showed up in 2 minutes flat and told him to GTFO.

Yea we know. Hes planning on building something bigger for it in the future (pending on whats wrong, maybe the near future), so he planned ahead on went bigger. I guess he called quickfuel and asked them if he could it to work ok with his setup and they told him the main body was the same size as the 650 and told him to change a few things out and would be ok. Its always been rich, but doesny seem to be to bad usually.

That was one of our first thoughts, but havent had a chance to check it yet, but will do. We have checked the entire electrical system and everything seems to be fine there.

This is my dads car, it has a flat tappet 302 in it with heads, cam, flat top pistons, intake and quick fuel 750 carb. The car has 2 issues that we are pretty sure are seperate. First one started a couple weeks ago with the car just randomly getting extremely rich to tje point it will miss/ backfire when you get into it. He has checked all the jets and everything seems good. His guess was possibly a power valve?. Second issue is the one we are really worried about. It just started this past weekend, but at about 3000 rpm, it gets a nasty vibration to the point that i tightend down his air cleaner, even just reving it in neutral would cause it to vibrate loose and start spinning around lol. Any ideads on what to check?

Usually the friday races are 1/4 and the rest of the weekend is 1/8. Although that depends on weather/ condition of the track. It rained on the friday morning last year and they had no hesitation on running 1/8 mile that night.

hell ill take that race for fun lol. it is impressive that the motor is holding up to that, i will give it that. but then again, i know others have said just buy a C6 and spank its ass in all aspects, but honestly, with that kind of power, i cant see that car being good for anything else but going in a strait line or drifting. Either way, pick up an LS1 f-body for 10k, add heads/cam/bolt ons as well possibly a turbo kit for around the price you could buy a BRZ for, and just turn it into a rape session.

i dont have any pics of them, but my sister drives a pretty beat up 97 grand am thats about on its last leg motor wise (fucker will clear out a 5 mile radius of insects when she starts it lol) and my fiance stole my 2000 bonneville so i now drive a 95 olds i picked up from my uncle for a good reliable dd.
