Get a w-body car. I have a bonneville (bigger and heavier than the w bodies) it averages 22 around town and 32 on the freeway. Not to mention the 3800 is bulletproof. Even if something does go wrong, every junk yard has about 30 of em so parts are plentiful and cheap. Hell i picked a 50k mile motor from intake to oil pan for 700.

And i hate how these things fall on their face on the top end. Having a semi lightly modded 15 second civic si start chasing down my 13.8 car and trap the same as me, Fail.

I dont think spending the extra cash is the problem. From what i understand is at this point, its purely due to the lack of sales they forsee. Gm doesnt think the US buyer will opt to spend the extra for the diesel option and still have to pay more at the pump.

nope lol. those were the stock wheels and they looked like complete ass. its only temporary though. after i get the 383 in, its getting a set of 17 inch black with polished lip C6 Z06 replicas.

http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj294/pontiacfreak142/blackwheels.jpg just a little teaser pic seeing as my phone/lighting sucks. the wheels came out great. i ended up just going with some duplicolor automotive stuff, but i sanded the wheels down with 80 grit sand paper, then went back over with some like 300 grit i think to smooth it out. the rims then got cleaned up with some brake clean and alcohol. used some black primer, sanded with the 300 grit, put the gloss black on, then followed up with some duplicolor clear coat.

my dad went with his mustang club this year. didnt even leave the ford section and about was amazed at how many cars he still saw

For that price id be looking for g8 gxp. Ls3 and 6 speed.

Not lookin to go crazy on them, but my stock wheels look like crap and i dont have the money for new ones, so i just want to paint them black. What is the best paint to use on them and what are a few tricks to make it look half decent?

Oh it drives just fine, hell its goin racing tonight lol. It just has a bad pinion seal and it leaks like a mother fucker and has been that way for a while. I have a 9inch sittin in the garage for it, i just need to get some money so i can get a center section for it and get it put in. George, speaking of black wheels, since my stockers look like crap anyway, i think im gonna paint them black lol

Like most others have said, if they have no evidence of you actually hitting anything, they are sol. Also, could you see the damaged side of the car at all while they did supposedly have you on camera driving said car? I ask because ive seen people bring pre damaged cars into places before, then tried to claim the damage was done while the car was in the parking lot/ in someone elses possesion.
