Ok, so i was having issues figureing out why i couldnt get my NAT settings right to work with my xbox. I finally got that figured out, but about the same time, i had broken the end off of our coaxle cable and just had the copper wire stuck in the hole on the back of the surfboard. Also about that time, i would notice that the internet would get extremely slow from time to time. I went in and ran a speed test on time warners site, to discover it was only downloading at .98 mbps. I went back and made sure there was nobody else using the internet and ran it again. Same numbers. So is there any way i am able to change a setting or reset anything to fix this, or am i just going to have to call time warner and have them possibly put in a new surfboard? For reference, i just have the basic cable internet. A buddy of mine is runninh the exact same setup, excep he has a newer surfboard, and he is running 19 mbps.

Depends who is running things that night. A couple of the guys that work there (i.e., the billy guy we are talking about), like to play favorites. If your on their good list, you can pretty much get away with anything so long as people dont complain. But if your like me and dont get along with alot of the people that work there bc of above sentence, they will get yo for anything they can.

ive had the same crap happen to me. turned out to be a bunch of little teenage girls that found me getting pissed off amusing, so they kept calling back. it ended up blowing up in their faces cause me and couple buddies were drunk and decided to fuck with them. My buddy grabbed my phone and awnsered it saying it was donatos pizza. this happend 3-4 times before they called a final time and my buddy again awnsered saying that they had already been in contact with the police and if they didnt order anything, they would be pressing charges. lets just say they wanted a large pizza, 2 orders of bread sticks and 6 boneless wings which they never recieved lol

yep lol. it was retarded though bc they were pulling from the slick lane and still had cars in that lane, but for some reason he pulled 1 more then told me and dad (we were at the front of the street lane) to go. i sat back even with dad for a sec so i could get my stuff on and the guy just started yelling like a dumbass. i tried to tell him to just let the slick guy go because by time i had finally gotten my helmet on, i was still sitting under the tower and the other guy already had his lights tripped and ready to go.

Thats trails for ya. When they say stupid shit like that, its nothing more than they fucked up and are trying to cover their asses without looking like complete douchbags. The funny thing about that is though, they act like they are so concerned with saftey, but yet last week, i got up in the lanes for a time trial pass and for some reason they just randomly cut off the slick car lanes with 1 car short and they told me to go ahead and go. Problem was i wasnt ready, no belt on, no helmet. I tried to tell the guy under the tower that i would just wait for the street cars coming behind me and the dude started screaming at me to go... makes sense since i still wasnt ready and the other guy already was already staged

Since it hasnt been mentioned yet, i think the lack of common sense causes a majority of the issues these days. I deal with the general public on a daily basis for my job, and i dont think i have really left work without a headach in the last couple months. I mean the shit some of these people say/do is rediculous. For instance, i had to deal with a customer the other day that had been on one of our pre pay pumps at the fuel center. The guy came up the window already pissed off that he went through the whole process on the screen, but we wouldnt turn the pump on for him. I told the guy sorry, but it was a pre pay pump and that there is a big white sign right above the main screen that states it is pre pay. The guys response, " that doesnt matter". Common sense says, obviously it does. As for the kid discussion, consistancy plays a big roll when it comes to punishing. A good friend of mine has a 2 year old son, and as much as i hate to say it, he is the biggest brat i have ever seen. The problem is, my buddy has no problem punishing, and he is pretty good about it, but his wife wont do anything. He was on the complete oposite side of there house the other day cooking while she was just sitting on the couch with kid sitting 2 feet in front of her. When he did something wrong, she just yelled and my buddy to come take care of it.

they do it for about 2 1/2 hours on wednsdays and you will probably get more runs in tonight than you would on a friday night.

What is the best way to go about setting up my xbox live stuff when its going through a modem and router?. The modem is an older motorola and the router is a linksys e1200. My connection is moderate, but its weird because sometimes i can still connect to people no problem, but alot of times anymore, not so much. I had a buddy come over and try to fix it by setting everything outside the dmz i think lol. He also tried a few other things which did open up my NAT, but then just caused everything to run slow. I just reset both back to factory for now. So what all do i need to do get this working right?
