you must have had a factory freak or somethin then. Back when i started racing a trails, there were a couple guys that had that style stang, some stock and some with bolt ons. The fastest one i remember had intake, full exaust, tune and drag radials running 13.5. Only one of them still runs out there and he has a cai, intake mani, exaust, 4.10 gears, drag radials, and tune in a 5 speed car running not much faster than me..

i guess i should have specified that i meant more the drive trains than the cars them selves. I love mustangs, i just wouldnt own one with a 4.6 lol. I do want a camaro in that synergy green though.

not to get off subject, but GM>Ford lol. the camaro makes 9 more hp, but like 50 more ft lb's than the stang, on like 6 less PSI. and thats not to even mention the torque curve..

no idea on the piston reliefs, but the heads im getting have springs that are good to .600 lift. and good to know, just wasnt sure how this cam would do seeing as it said it was mild. i mean im not looking to go crazy by any means, just something thats gonna run good.

it does, comp has a section on their web page that you can put the specs of your setup and they recommend the cam depending on that.

Im looking to order a cam for my 383 in the next couple of days. So far ive emailed comp with most of the specs of the motor and they recommended a cam, that i thought was pretty decent, but says its pretty mild on jegs web site. The part number for it is 12-342-4. specs on the motor so far, 383 stroker 11.5:1 compression aluminum heads 2.02/1.60 valves 190cc runner looking to keep from having to spin it much past 6500 rpm 1/4 mile car.
