welcome, good intro. with the firebird, you would be suprised how quick you can get them with not a ton invested. I have a 96 3.8 bird with a cam, intake, exaust, converter and and 4.10 gears running 13's (which by the way, both the motor and tranny in the car will be for sale shortly)

im curious also. i graduated from hights back in 06. The only issues that school had then (and im sure it still does), are all the somalians (sp?). For those of you that dont know what i mean, put it this way, back when i started high school there, you would see alot of black/white fights (it was a big redneck school back then). After the somalians came, it was constantly black/white Vs somalians because they were ALWAYS starting shit.

yea i see alot of things wrong. again, go take the time to check out a few other intros of people that didnt get bashed and follow that guidline. A good intro would be like, Hello, my name is.... Its not much, but i drive a..... I am 16 years old and still in high school, but plan on working full time/going to college when i graduate. My dad is also a member of this board. Aside from somthing like that, just mention a few hobbies or something that you like or are into. its not hard.

your getting razzed because you appearantly cant follow directions. go look at a few intro posts of people who took the time to read the stickies before hand. You will notice they dont get razzed (or nearly as bad anyway). Sorry kid, but you brought this all on yourself.

like scott said, check out the pataskala area. for the most part, its still a very good area, and for the most part, out in the country if you like that. a good friend of mine said they had checked out a few places out here when they were moving out and had found several decent places that needed a little work, but could be had for around 60K.

ok cool, im ordering a set of aluminum heads that i guess will get sent off to have that done. I asked this question mostly because of friend of mine had pulled up a set of long tubes on jegs site a couple months ago that said there were meant for 4th gen f-bodies with a gen 1 350 swap. Problem is, i asked the guy at jegs today to see if they had any others for that purpose, and the guy told me he couldnt even find the ones i was talking about... So i figured it might be easier to just try some LT1 headers lol.

Honestly i would love to have manual car, but this will see mostly bracket racing, so im sticking with an auto for it. Not to mention i already have a built turbo 400 sitting in the garage that i paid a measly $45 dollars for lol.

Looking for a good website for gen 1 350 swaps. Also, anyone know if LT1 f-body headers would work on gen 1's?

i never wrecked my first car. now my 2nd one on the other hand, its still going after several thousand dollars worth of repairs, but its been through hell.

V6 F-bodies arent bad first cars. yes they are RWD, but have and open diff which keeps ya out of quite a bit of trouble in slippery conditions. Not mention you can get excelent gas mileage with them. back when my car was stock, i did about half city half freeway one a tank of gas and averaged 27 mpg with an auto tranny, and i have never been easy on this car.

yea good luck with that lol. i mean its possible. may have to get some things like intake, carb maybe heads off of craigslist/ebay though.

oh yea, i forgot about his car. The shut down isnt to bad, not the best ive seen but also far from the worst.
