  1. Now, here's what I want you to do. Strap a camera to the roof. Put the car on the highway and follow behind in a chaser car. Upload to YT and get insane fame.
  2. Fatties aren't that bad. If their fat is evenly distributed and they can walk more than 1 mile without heaving. Good enough for me.
  3. This is the only time I would want a big ass SUV or truck to get the slow driver to move over. Trying to "encourage" the slow driver to move over in a low Saab isn't very efficient.
  4. When did you go to OU? I'm attending OU and I remember seeing a similar color GTR in the parking garage under Baker. Wondering if that was you.
  5. Anyone who says that that car or this car is ghey is actually insecure. I would rock a Mini Cooper any day, any time, and anywhere.
  6. Yes. I would add a tosh more power and less weight and it would have indeed be an "American Revolution"
  7. I think they should just shut down and save what's left of their image.
  8. Excellent points made there. I suppose I should clarify that I don't mean brutally simple as in no AC, no CC, no power anything. I meant a car where I can fix with a screwdriver, some spit, and a prayer instead of using expensive technology to fix expensive parts. The cars you brought up are excellent examples of what I desire. Even the Town Car brought up by Steve would be lovely. MPG is a big factor but as long it's not 14MPG on the highway, I think the charm of driving an old car will counterbalance that.
  9. how the hell is this thread still going? It's like Hugh Hefner, he should have died a long time ago but he's still alive. I do not believe, along with everyone else, his identity stolen bullshit story. I've had my identity and deeply personal information stolen three times (college, state, and federal levels) yet I'm lucky that nothing catastrophic has happened.
  10. That's pretty much how I feel. I envy you. I also envy others who drive clean old cars everyday and even those who enjoy their stripped-out cars. There are days where I cannot stand all the technology in my Saab and I pine for a brutally simple car and having a lot of fun with it. I have another vote, I saw it on the way home and I thought that is awesome. A nice black Crown Victoria http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/copcar104.jpg
  11. Same here. I felt like it was completely lacking a plot and actual tangible action. yes a lot of things went boom-boom but I wanted a plot and some real fight scenes. Even the remake of Karate Kid had more fight scenes.
  12. When I refer to DD, I mean actually driving it everyday in all weather conditions, no parking when the first snowflake touches the ground. Salt, sleet, snow, rain, ice, it'll see it all. This is just a discussion. My vote is the 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood, big and styling. The design of the car will lend itself well to any customizing (no DONK thank you) http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/1969_cadillac_fleetwood-pic-50731.jpg What's your vote?
  13. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/340x.gif Nice Family Guy reference.
  14. I think so. Sounds like he sits more upright to help shorten his legs when in the Solstice and when in the Trans-Am, he can recline and sit in a more comfortable position thus extending his legs which causes him to move the seat further back. That's how I interpret it and experience since I recline in my Saab so I have headroom. That's a pity since I fit just fine in the new Miata with the top up.
  15. I use the red sauce they have, very nice and hot. I often ask for extra and every time I do, the employee says "are you sure?" Yes, I'm sure.
  16. Crappy PS because I am NOT an expert at this thing. I always wanted a shirt that had the similar concept to this. I know it's not specific to CR but it could incorporate something that is CR. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/suggestion.jpg
