  1. Tough decision for me. Ultimately, I decided on this. I was autocrossing at Carlisle. I like this shot because it shows parts of me and parts of the car instead of the standard full shot etc and it's in motion, there's something visually arresting about a car in motion.

Check out the compression on the rear left corner!

  2. Oh boy, that can't be helpful, my bad.

It's to Advance Auto. I believe it's 10 bucks off a purchase of 30, 20 off a purchase of 50, and 30 off 100. Caveat: online purchase only but I think you can pick up in store

  3. I can't find details on this particular coupon code: A123, it takes twenty bucks off orders over 50 bucks. I tried to apply it for my Mobil 1 0W-40 because I think spending about 60 bucks total on oil/filter is ridiculous but I didn't think that through when I bought the car three years ago, oh well.

It seems not to apply to oils, apparently. Does anyone know what the details are and anyone know of any places that has coupons that'll include oils?

EDIT: found a live chat, apparently that code and any promo codes do not apply to oil products.

    Dang it.

  4. Name change? What's your middle name, you could go by that?

Hate my middle name, it's Michael. Been trying to get a nickname but with a 4 letter name, a nickname is almost irrelevant.

You know how sometimes people tell you to just stay down, just stay down, don't get up.

    I'm advising the same here.

  5. I must admit that I thought you were talking about me since my name is Cody too but I realized I'm not a douche so it mustn't be about me.

I should make it out to a C&C to bring back credibility to the name "Cody".

  6. Not sure if there's a photo limit per post so I went ahead and assumed there was one and broke it up in pieces

It looked good in person! Inside is a camshaft for a shifter

  9. This past weekend, I commuted to Carlisle, PA for the big Import and Kit Car Show. We had a big Saab meeting there called "Saabs@Carlisle" and it was sponsored by the Central Penn Saab Club. Free food was provided three days in a row, showing of Top Gear on the side of a big rig Saturday night and free water to wash cars and rare Saabs provided by Saab of USA and private collectors!

I had a blast there and I went autocrossing for the first time

  10. I hear they're infamous for overzealous cops tiicketing for just barely touching the center line or going a hair over the speed limit. You experience that?

Did you drive it hard for fun or was it more of a cruise and take in the sights? I know you mentioned the importance of having good tires but I wanted to make sure.

I'm planning on hitting TOTD myself too, the Saab needs to see everything!

  11. I don't mean to sound like a newb but this is my first turbo car and today, I noticed that the heat from underneath the car felt hotter than normal or at least from what I remembered.

So I popped the hood and checked the heat source (turbo) and wow, it was really hot, a lot hotter than I remembered. So I was wondering for you turbo experts, how hot is too hot? This turbo had a heat shield on it.

I don't want to cook it up thinking it's normal.

    Tips?

  12. My geology professor said that the Mississippi is forecasted to be in flood stage until JUNE! They already destroyed one levee, I believe a two-mile strip in Cairo that's right on the river in hopes of reducing the crest so the people south won't suffer the wrath of the river.
  13. Woot for another Saab in the club! I'm the new school 9-3. Love these things.

My badges has peeled away twice. I suggest just going on Ebay and order a decal to stick on it. I'll be doing that. I'm also waiting for one of my favorite tuners to develop a tune for the new generation. But I'm sure you'll set a banging tune for that Saab.

    Nice find!
