It could be the EATC o-ring failure common on the control units. I had the same thing happen on my Marauder. https://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?80673-EATC-o-ring-repair-How-to-with-pics

2016 Roush F150 - The PERFECT Truck Get's the Full Treatment
Rick-n-Columbus replied to TTQ B4U's topic in Sponsors
Tim, you did a heck of a job on my truck; it looks brand new again! I'm extremely pleased with how it came out. Thanks again! -
I didn't know you were up this year! Sorry I missed you.

Just got back. Awesome time, as always. Weather was perfect Friday and Saturday. And yes, I have the silver Marauder

I had the 3.5l Ecoboost in my 2010 Lincoln MKT and it was fine. This past weekend, I turned in the lease and got a new F150 Lariat with Ecoboost and it runs great!

I got the M7 earlier this year, best bed ever. I was concerned about the c2 due to the rather thin mattress and lack of memory foam or other bedding on top. I did go with the mechanical base, which doubled the cost, but I do enjoy it quite a bit. If you don't get the mechanical, a regular boxspring should work just fine. Save the money and go for a better mattress, like a higher C or M. Oh, so far, no warranty issues!

I'm from Miami and I miss Cuban food. I have yet to find a place around that sells "real" cuban food or coffee.

Whole house generator: whose had one installed
Rick-n-Columbus replied to mrs.cos's topic in Dumpster
I installed a Generac 14KW with full auto transferswitch and natural gas hookup earlier this year. It wasn't cheap, but it powers everything; the well pump, sump, AC, lights, TVs, computer, garage, fridge, etc. When the power goes out, it starts up and restores power within 20 seconds. I've run it for nearly 72 hours in two seperate events already this year without fail. It has saved me quite a bundle in ruined food and hotel fees! -
Nice setup! Welcome!

Howdy! A fellow UM grad! Class of 2001 here! Welcome to Columbus and to the site!

I've been able to get a 1.48s 60' in the Marauder with the Mickey T drag radials (305/45/18), yielding a 10.4s quartermile. This is in the same ballpark others have gotten with the same tires, and as well as with 10.5" slicks. I do have suspension work done to the rear of the car, but nothing major. Adjustable shocks, larger swaybar, control arms, etc.

Great event! I'm glad I was finally able to make it out and meet some of you. I'll try to swing by a few times more before the season is over!

The fun stuff is up in Pontiac on Woodward, just around the split. After the police shut down the cruise on Friday night, come back to Woodward around midnight (cops have completely left Pontiac....) and watch/have fun.

I'm heading up Thursday morning with some other cars from the area. We're staying at the Hampton in Madison Heights (14 mile & I75).

I have the Lincoln version, the MKT and love it. Get the EcoBoost, you'll love it too!

Also, the graphics card doesn't need to be so beefy for 2D. I have an older Radeon HD4850 that is calibrated with my monitors and printers perfectly with true Adobe RGB98. I'd reinvest that money in the disks
-
I edit 2GB+ TIFFs for large-scale printing with my rig. Lots of RAM and a spectacular disk system is far more impactful than the CPU (IMHO). You have the RAM, but the disks are lacking. I'd try two Intel X-25M's in a RAID1 for the boot and applications disk, and then a dedicated RAID controller with multiple SATA disks (ie. 4x 1TB's) in a RAID10.

I'm very sorry to hear about this news. Last Christmas, my father was given 2 months to live with Stage 4 tonsil cancer. We didn't celebrate anything last year. This year, we ALL celebrated Christmas and my dad is *cancer free*. Find the best cancer centers you can; there are ways to beat this! Best, Rick

I built this rig just about two years ago for heavy-duty image editing (2GB+ TIFFs). Added the X-25M's earlier this year due to a failure in one of the Vertex disks.
