it's going to be a 2.6-2.7 liter, as opposed to 2.5.
the block case splits in half. the are several bolts that connect the halves. you have to attach the rods to the crank and then lay the crank inside, then connect the case halves.
in case you were wondering. there are very few failures that can be traced back to a failure of the stock case bolts, but the is an arp upgrade.
