  1. You gained 150 HP by going from a 14b to a "low boost" 16G? I call b.s. on that one.
  2. It's an AMC Eagle. Very cool, but rust buckets.
  3. Bracket Racing is an animal all its own. It takes a huge amount of seat time to be slow over and over again. I mean consistent. Although watching Phil try to repeat a run 5 or 6 times would be entertaining.
  4. Triple cause I have to be up in four hours.
  5. Here you go Jr. :nws: http://chuckpalahniuk.net/files/u1031236/19_1_Dicky_20World_LRG.jpg
  6. Pffft. CSM..... Dont' diss me like that. If I did that I'd make sure he wouldn't want after we were done. My 100 vs. his 20. Not worth spinning the cams for less.
  7. He can have what ever race he wants. I'll put up a C-note to his 20. :fuckyeah:
  8. I take it back. You don't win. I know plenty. Learn to listen next time.
  9. Janky, and untuned with a blown turbo? Gotcha. Maybe James didn't break my car :ninja: Maybe it's the Troll of the summer and I'm waiting for the 4800 stall and bigger turbo to come in... Or you're getting worked up over nothing. CR is still talking car stuff. Let it ride.
  10. We really wanna go there? Didn't try, never really got going on it, summer is getting short Jr., and I wanna play. Problem with that? Don't call me out on a "pre-built" car. Pot meet kettle. He broke it, he's owning up to it. Get over it. I had a muffin for breakfast, Stir Fry for Dinner. I just touched myself.
  11. Not misinterpreting anything. When the post was made, at no point did I tell myself "Gee I wonder if the motor was built or stock". Given this is loosely a discussion about what a stock motor will handle that the context it was taken in. The comment "the stock sr can make enough power to grenade without increasing displacement to increase power." is nonsensical.
  12. 100% agree. The Bow Down vids are a perfect example. Way better then watching a set of head lights pull or drop back with shitty Techno music blaring ion the background.
  13. Take it to the Flame thread. Did you read this at all? CR is talking about Car stuff. Let it ride.
  14. See, those sorts of things get used when you are setting up a car to run from a dig. Because you know what you're doing.... Others will go with the crutch of AWD so as to not look so dumb. Rarely does it work though. Or they have no idea how to set up a car, match equipment together, or can't afford to do it right, so they stick to Rolls.
  15. Roll racing gets a bad rap because 99% of the time it takes place illegally. Legalities aside, it takes more skill and far better prep for the car to Dig race. Rolling in essence you're taking the first 60-100' out of the equation. Which is where the bulk of skill comes into play.
  16. What? That's not what you said. Go back and re-read it. Do you have any idea what you're talking about? We're not talking Civil Rights. Lemme put this in here for you so you won't have to search.
  17. This is so 2007... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38270
  18. The statement has me curious because I always read that the SR's were fairly stout motors. 400+whp was a no brainer with them. Sounds like somebody is :gabe:ing.
  19. http://chatwivme.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/feels-good.jpg
  20. What does the displacement have to do with it being a time bomb? Now I really am curious.
  21. I dunno, but it gives me a reason to pick on AJ, and I would hope that the motor was being quantified as an OEM assembly, not a built motor. Otherwise that post was :dumb: kinda like arguing witch 20+ year old Toyota motor is more reliable/modern. :dumb: as well.
