E30's can be just as beat. Hopefully my Bimmer buying skillz are better than my DSM skillz. 93% of it will be well documented :thumbup:

Blown up E36's can be had all day for, 300-1000 . Popped HG, hosed trans etc. I honestly could care less about leather but if its there hey. As handling goes is say its on par with the FC. Diffs are somewhat strong. The Ti uses E30 rear suspension and diff. Obviously its been proven to take the abuse. And the great equalizer. Nitrous. I never met a 5.0 that didn't like it.

That was pretty much the list I came up with. While I'm settled on an E36, it's the hatch. 2800ish after the swap, and a little trimming it won't be gutted by any means. Leather interior, A/C, P/S all stay intact. The parts required for the swap are way cheaper than the FB or FC, and the only oddity is forward facing headers. But even that isn't all that bad. I doubt Sam would want to do something like that after the E30, With what he has to work off of I'd vote FB. Stock motr-Will travel
