Lingenfelter drove a Twin Turbo Camaro to 220 back in the 80's there, and then drove it back to his shop.

No it totally is. But I recently say a Hyundai that was LS swapped. It only solidified my disdain. But the example here is a 2.3L, ported factory iron head, HX40 turbo with cheap TRW pistons, on Megasquirt. Tough as nails, and still turns out a respectable E.T.

2.3's were doing these sorts of things before the LS was even a quiver in GM's nut sack. The point is, fourty year old tech still doing work.
