Beware of the socialist code! The conservatives are getting more and more desperate. Time is running out.

I have a Sony Digital 8 camcorder in very good shape (99/100) with no wear, never dropped, barely used. Uses firewire to transfer the videos so your computer would need that port. Can provide more info after I get home from work. I could throw in the firefire cable, a case, extra digital 8 tapes, and cleaning supplies if we can make a deal. I am thinking $120 obo? Not sure what they go for these days. New it was somewhere around $800.

That works.

I am voting yes. It will be nice to have a new entertainment alternative for friends and family when they come to town.

Nov 1st is the day after Halloween. Hangovers must be taken into consideration here.

These are places to kill time. Nothing more. A little arguing is always good to pass the time at work.

The show was pretty good. Decent mix of cars. The weather was amazing and the cruise afterward was awesome. Props to Crawdad for some nice spirited driving up 257 and back down 203. My Eaton got a workout trying to keep up with all his horses on the straightaways. His pipes sound pretty sweet too. If I had a Mustang I would want mine to sound exactly like that. Definitely draws attention around town. Forgot my camera so here are some phone pics of the zoo. We were in a separate overflow group area which was a great scenic location, but it was a bit off the beaten path... http://lh3.ggpht.com/mudcrutch/SPJzaq_-efI/AAAAAAAAC0g/-4qnL382dl8/s800/IMG_0070.JPG

What kind of worthless d-bag cop runs radar on a business parkway?
ForeverMaker replied to kenny's topic in Dumpster
Yea that sucks. What is even worse was when I was in college I got a ticket on an access road to a student parking lot. I was going to work to make money to support myself to pay fucking tuition and their salary. To top it off his computer wasn't working so he couldn't look up my (at the time) NY plates so I sat there for 40 minutes while he bumbled around. -
yea maybe I will just head there.

Hilarious... --------------- Upon entering Starbucks, I immediately realized that the McCain/Palin folks were having a little meeting. I saw several women in dresses wearing pink buttons proclaiming "Women for McCain/Palin". A few of them brought their husbands who were sporting buttons saying things such as "Sportsman for McCain/Palin" and "NOBama". I sat down at the table next to the group just as they were starting their meeting. As soon as the last member of their group came in, they prayed. In their prayer they begged that God "deliver the country from the evil socialists" and even prayed that "Obama find God". Well, damn, how offensive I thought to myself. After their prayer they began to discuss their Get Out The Vote efforts. One of the women proclaimed that her whole Bible study group was going to vote early. One of the men piped up and said he was going to ask people to vote early after church one Sunday. The next person lamented that their whole office was voting for Obama. The McCain/Palin supporters called that person's co-workers "sinners" and said that they "needed Jesus". Damn, I'm offended again. Next they started talking about policy positions. This was quite amusing. They were all upset that Obama had voted for the bailout. Then, one of them said, "McCain supported it too." Then they talked about how upset they were about McCain's proposal to buy mortgages directly from homeowners. One of the gentlemen proclaimed, "McCain sounds like a socialist. You'd think he were a Democrat". At that point the other gentleman stated that he had thought of voting for Bob Barr. He opened his lap top and pulled up Barr's website for the others to see. They liked what they saw. One woman said that Barr was the "conservative that McCain used to be." They talked a little more about how Obama would destroy our country with "free health care" and "gay marriages". The feared his daughters would probably play loud rap music in the White House while world leaders were staying. They feared that Muslim would become our official religion. One of them even feared that "the Muslim language would be taught in schools." Priceless. They went back to the fact that they all believed McCain would lose this election, but they were excited that Palin would probably run in 2012. They talked about the fact that their local "Victory Office" was so disorganized and the morale was low. Apparently one of the lead volunteer organizers walked out of the office yesterday and hasn't come back. They all feared they were wasting good time phonebanking and canvassing. They just couldn't believe this great country would elect "that man". They couldn't believe God would allow it. One woman even thought that God may be punishing the country by giving us Obama. At that time, I decided to pull out my laptop. You see, I have an Obama sticker on it. Well, one of them noticed and gave the rest of them a look and said SHHHH! One of the men didn't notice and kept talking. He said that "Obama is part of a sleeper cell and he will use our own nuclear weapons against us." One of the women nodded her head in agreement. Finally, the woman who noticed me said in a soft voice, "there's an Obama supporter behind us...BE QUIET". The group suddenly got quiet. They changed the subject for a while, but on the way out the door one of the men told me "you are a disgrace to white people if you vote for that man." I told him he was a disgrace to people who think by voting for McCain. Well, that was a long story, and I'm sure nobody will read it. It's good to be an Obama supporter, especially when you see how scared and dejected the other side is. UPDATE: Yes, unfortunately this story is 100% true.

First, what conspiracy theories have I ever discussed? Second, I am asking about rotating prices. If you have no information on it then fuck off. It is something I heard may be happening.
-
Isn't this part of the rotating pricing cycle? Some regions get cheaper prices for a while then it rotates.
-
yea that's an idea if people didn't want to take a longer ride. we could just see what people want to do when the time comes.

I may do that... but I like collecting and playing the games on the actual SNES. My quarter-life crisis plan includes re-buying all the stuff I had when I was a kid. This includes all the original ninja turtle action figures in the original packages. (Which I got this spring. Woo!)

How long do I have to spoon-feed you man? From the article I linked: Eliminate capital gains taxes for small businesses, cut corporate taxes for firms that invest and create jobs in the United States, and provide tax credits to reduce the cost of healthcare Talk is cheap. You are right. But that's all McCain and Obama can really do at this point.
-
Looking particularly for Super Double Dragon and Super Mario World for SNES. List what you have and prices. Ideal range is around $3 for SNES games and around $5-8 for XBOX. Lot purchases will be considered. Wanted to see what you all had before I hit up eBay. Thanks.

I think that was cardiac arrest mixed with Viagra-induced excitement.

http://www.barackobama.com/taxes/ http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/ Read up. For one I think Obama's tax plan is better than McCains. Middle class folks will get more money back under Obama. The wildcard here is with the economy tanking anything could happen once the next person (whoever it is) gets into office. As voters we have to investigate the candiates stated plans and their previous record.
-
Because spending donated campaign money is the same as spending tax money. That is what you are implying. Marketing 101. The more you get your name out there, the better. I guess McCain isn't spending a dime now is he!

This is the worst logic I have ever heard. I didn't realize somebody on a message board saying Obama attracts more "crazies" is a FACT. Let me quote part of the article: Returning to the theme that Obama is a mystical figure, Farrakhan said, he "is not the Messiah for sure, but anytime he gives you a sign of uniting races, ethnic groups, ideologies, religions and makes people feel a sense of oneness, that's not necessarily Satan's work, that is, I believe, the work of God." So this guy thinks Obama being elected is the work of God. I don't see the big deal, or how it should change YOUR VOTE. This sort of thought process happens every day in churches across the country.

Proposal: start from the zoo around 4pm. Cruise up 257 then back down 203 and shoot over (through ohio weslyan campus, scenic ) and over to Quaker Steak for some dinner. This may be a bit long. I can tweak it. Google Map Link Sort of what Doc did for their bike cruise last weekend.

we should do a cruise at 4pm since a lot of cars may be there. route suggestions welcome.
