Hell, I like them just fine! Having noted that, I would like to keep the tread the same until I change the fronts. Until that point I think I'll stick with the Eagles on the rear... But yes, when it comes to changing the whole set I think I'll look for something with a little more tread life.

+1. Hey if they were at the end of their life then... do what you got to do (although I probably would not elect to pump them full of lead in the basement). I think this fella had a serious lack of judgment. At any rate if they are old, suffering, and their time is "up".... a back yard, a last good bye, and a bump on the noggin with a hammer will do the job. AWD nice!! And keep them running - absolutely! We had to replace the head gasket on that one quite a few years ago. Cannot say that I would ever do that again... EVER. Like working in a sardine can.
