  1. No, it won't cause the ATF to give a shit about you. This is not unusual at all for us gun-loving Americans and if you can afford it you should. Lots of good dealers give deep discounts for bulk purchases. Give me a shout and I'll throw in for one or two to get you to the next discount point. One of my favorite places (classicarms.us) wants you to get 5 usually. Just let me know. Also, what are you looking at?
  2. Those aren't details. Is it a secret? If it turns out to be a wookie-caused shooting I'm going to be very upset. Gangstas bust a cap? Noobs play too much COD? Girl got ditzy? Come on...
  3. I know enough to know I don't want one. There's nothing at all about those cars that is attractive to me, except the nice depreciation. I don't want to get into all the other qualities of the Nissan lineup that turns me off, but those are two that I laughed at every time I changed oil in one (g35, z, etc). And the wookie sounding engine that always revs too high on startup. What's that about? "Hey everyone, look at my wookie!" Waaaah http://aussieexotics.com/forum/dlattach.html%3Btopic=5010.0%3Battach=25656%3Bimage
  4. Yikes!!! One more reason I'm glad I can shoot on my own land. No noobs!!! You're never too good to practice gun safety!
  5. I was honestly hoping to see "black talon cop killers" and I'm not kidding.
  6. When I read "old school Hondas" I thought of old old school Hondas. As in, these cam bores are off-center, these valves are nitrided pot-metal, so let's use differently sized main bearings to make up for wide machining tolerances! Shit by the 80's Honda actually knew how to build an engine! That's not old school! Anyway, welcome.
  7. wtf? I've never heard of "Steel Hawk?"
  8. Interesting. It needs a flash hider too, but that's cheap and the site said it has standard AR threads. Still, it's not clear as to whether it's a 5.56 NATO or .223 chamber, and I'd like to see a little faster twist. I'll look forward to hearing your range report.
  9. Bland, that's what they are. Just super duper bland. I like how the newer 3.7 doesn't really make any more torque than the older 3.5, it just revs higher and holds the torque higher in the rev range. Weaksauce, gimme more torque.
  10. It's nice it accepts AR magazines, but the $700+msrp seems pretty high to me. I mean shit, you could buy an AR for that much, or a nice AK. What's that about?
  11. You sure that's the same car? Also, what's a kimper? +rep for you
  12. I dunno about motorkars... I have a good 10 years of experience there as a customer, but no more. After running my cars into things (yes, cars with an S) and not fixing the damage, I'm not going back. They used to be cool, way back in the day.
  13. Years ago AK ammo was cheaper than about anything else, so buying a $350 rifle and a couple thousand rounds kept you under $500 easily. Now, it's about the same as 5.56, so you're really just saving money on the initial rifle purchase if at all any more. Considering you can build/buy an AR for $600 easily, and AKs are still around $400ish, you're only saving $200 going with one platform over another at that level.
  14. Are you impressed with everything you read on the internet? I've never driven a VQ car more than 100ft, but after being around them plenty I can say I don't like the way they sound, rev, look, or are designed. I mean honestly- could anyone design a more retarded dipstick? What is that? And nice oil filter... you get that off a lawn mower? What's that sound, is it a wookie attack?
  15. Does moved on (until funds are available) count? Paying $200/track day on a bike isn't bad, but getting a car on Mid-O is much more expensive from what I hear. Plus getting and keeping a good track-worthy car would be a PITA. When you can buy a track ready bike for $3k that will go many track days with little maintenance it's hard not to.
  16. Cool. This is a step in the right direction for them. I never like the VQ motors because they are so uninspired. Maybe this 2.5turbo will be a little better.
  17. yeah. The SCAR is the only weapon I have 1000+ kills with. It has great power and sights, so silenced it's usually by best weapon. I'm usually too laggy to hit with the M16, and even then it takes 3-5 bursts to take someone down.
  18. Okay, carbon fiber option then. I'm not a fan of woodgrain. Is it a piano or a car?
  19. Needs a less goofy steering wheel and more carbon fiber.
  20. Shoot at $14.5k that's what I would call reasonable. I've seen a couple Z06s sell for high teens, so I'm not surprised the CTS-Vs would be in the mid-teens.
  21. I'll buy 4 boxes if they revert to 1998 cookie quantity and pricing.
  22. No, it's a handgun with a very-small caliber (.22) high-velocity pistol round with very little energy fairly high costs. The only kinda good thing about it is that it will penetrate soft armor with some loads, and have a soft recoil.

I just saved the loins. If the meat is still good, you're welcome to come and cut it off but do so at your own risk. It's just such a damn shame this happened, what a waste. Probably took me half an hour to get what I got off of it. I kind of wanted to keep going and just do the whole thing, but I had tons of other shit to do and only had time for a half-ass job.
  24. Yup. My Jetta impeller lasted 40k miles, then took a shit. If there's no coolant in it, don't run it! I drove my 2.0 over 100 miles with no t-stat and in the red. I would not recommend it.
