  1. That's a typo. That amount of torque isn't happening out of a 6.3L NA gasoline motor.

In that case shouldn't I order more bacon, gold, medicine, and rosetta stone?

Chuck Norris farted in their general direction. This is how they respond. in other Korean news... http://i40.tinypic.com/miie74.jpg Actually though, they're probably just trying to finagle some aid (food, water, oxygen, etc.) out of us. The inspectors will be allowed to tour a nuclear plant waiting room, a nuclear plant bathroom, and a plant that makes models of nuclear plants. That is all.
  4. Damn you too? I have not seen the need to purchase a firearm ever since.
  5. Do not buy a polymer AR15 lower. Let me say that again. DO NOT BUY A POLYMER LOWER! For the $100 or so you might save, it is not worth it with the massive record of failure polymer AR lowers have. Forged AL lowers are cheaper and more available than ever, it is absurd to get anything else.
  6. Whether it was just a PR move or the Audi exec being a genuinely good guy I do not know. Still pretty cool of Audi to do that. I would have been like, "Oh, where's the clutch pedal? Nevermind, I'll just get something else" :gabe:
  7. Yeah having a sporty car that has to go WOT and shift at 4000rpm just to keep up with the tahoes and odysseys stoplight-to-stoplight makes for a totally sucky experience. They may be "handling cars" or "economical" or whatever, but 99% of buyers don't want to get smoked trying to merge by a pedestrian land-yacht. I'd expect 170rwhp would be enough to keep up just fine.
  8. what's going on in here?
  9. I'll find a set or two every couple years in the woods. Friends and family like to chop them and give the to the dogs, but my poochy doesn't give a shit about them.
  10. the biggest piece of shit deathtrap on two wheels I've ever ridden was an all-original 2-stroke 250 AMF Harley. I would not pay more than a couple hundred bucks for anything AMF after that.
  11. I've had a pro-form something ($750?) and it's been decent for the last 5 years. Only goes up to 10mph, and the incline had to be fixed under warranty, but it's been trouble-free since then. I have no idea what the life expectancy on a treadmill is, but if all you need is the belt adjusted that is very easy to DIY.
  12. That's too damn bad. Erry time I see a dumbass biker (I ride too) on a busy 55mph road I can't help but think he/she isn't going to make it home. There are TONS of nice places to ride for miles and miles on bike paths and be nice and safe. If I have to choose between a head-on with a vehicle, or running a cyclist off the road guess which one I'm doing?
  13. This is what I kept expecting to see in the yoga thread. Good save sir.
  14. I'd rate it as a decent treadmill show or something, not quite good enough to make me drop what I'm doing and pay full attention. I do like that the dudes are beating on each other a bit, and it's fun to see them psyche themselves out and fall apart.
  15. I'll agree with you in a performance application, but in a daily driver the torque you feel when you let out the clutch or short shift doesn't come from boost. I'd trade 50 ft-lb at 7000rpm for 30 at 1000 any day of the week in my daily driver. The heavier the car, the taller the gearing, the worse it is... and today's cars are getting pretty portly with all their safety and convenience crap, and gearing is getting very tall in the quest for economy. Recommend diesel.
  16. Nor should you. Many gun owners don't shoot enough to exceed the life expectancy of basic parts. While forums are a great source of information, not every owner of a 1911 runs to the internet when they have problems (maybe just the younger ones LOL). 9/10 times I see people having problems with a 1911 it's a cheapy.
  17. yeah, I saw that. Had the freeway shut down for quite some time. Eerily coincidental since someone just posted up that video of the semi and the nissan fatality.
  18. You and I have very different standards of quality it would seem. Perhaps if you read up on some of the 1911 forums you will see the cheaper 1911s (particularly their MIM parts) are regularly failing around 3000 rounds.
  19. I suppose this in the yoga thread probably didn't help either? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1517836&postcount=18 Maybe it wouldn't hurt to archive the recent troll failings in the "Remember When..." forum or something? Troll's guide to CR LOL.
  20. posted something irrelevant in the cycling wheel thread
  21. 47MPG on the highway? Really? I'll believe that when I see it in a camaro.
  22. Awesome daily. You could probably drive the shit out of it and sell in 3 years for what you paid for it.
  23. Good luck. I've seen beat-to-fuck non-functional basket-cases sell for more than that. You know you could buy an actual decent functional japanese bike for that much.
