  1. If that's a regular non-special deal you could probably make a little side money buying and reselling locally. Give me the details and order me a skid and I'll be by to pick it up shortly.
  2. A5 or A4 are both available in manual with quattro. The new Audis are far more reliable than the older Audis. You know the new GTI is supposedly going to be vastly improved as well. Good girl requiring a manual. My wife is the same way.
  3. That's about what poor folk like me pay per person on date-night, not on hangin-out night. I'm closer to the $5 steak & shake budget LOL.
  4. I keep seeing multiple threads about Cabela's coming to Columbus. How many are we getting? Surely they can't cram 4 of these 80k sq ft. stores into polaris?!?

    Awww yeah...

Please use the search function next time. This has been covered, then recovered, then recovered again.
  6. That's what I used to think. Driver skill makes a HUGE difference getting a car off the line, as does hitting your shifts correctly. Different kind of driving than autox for sure. If we were all driving AWD autos then it would be different.
  7. FUCKING SWEET! It's about damn time. thanks
  8. I CAN SEE IT! Valvesprings? That's 20th century technology. Nobody who's anybody uses those anymore. Have fun fixing that.
  9. Wouldn't that really hurt the value of the bike? Kickstarters crap out sometimes too which would leave you with pushstarting.

    Magazines

people believe too much of what they hear. I've left mags loaded for years and they've always been 100% when they get cycled in. Lots of people (myself included) like to load certain mags 1 or 2 rounds below capacity just to make it easier to lock in on a closed bolt, but it won't hurt the magazine one bit.
  11. As many as you can afford. I'd say minimum 100.
  12. I'd be pretty interested were he closer to $8k or so. Is it normal for those to need "every bushing replaced" at 84k miles? Or is he just an idiot that likes to throw money at non-essential parts and neglect oxygen sensors?
  13. Semi-fixed that for you. Carry on with whatever the hell is going on in here.
  14. dayum! If I bought that, I'd have to put it on my resume. Two bottles of NAWS. The big ones.
  15. You can do a little better than that if you want to. I buy from here often: http://www.aimsurplus.com/catalog.aspx?groupid=46&name=9mm
  16. I didn't know who you were either, I had to say "Who's that person that made the thread..." I was the dude that was sitting between the one dude and the other dude and across from the dude and the other girl. By the fridge kinda, but on the way out to the garage.
  17. You looked kinda bored a couple weeks back at Doc's. Was something wrong? Our guy talk is pretty boring for girls I suppose.
  18. What side of town are you on? Blackwing is the closest to me with a buttload of things to rent. Hold a bunch of pistols, narrow it down to half a dozen that feel really good in your hand and are good reputable manufacturers, then rent them.
  19. Goal: get back to alum creek and rant about how much things have changed in 10 years. Then get made fun of for riding a old-ass FS schwinn there.
  20. Is that a bench seat? I like how the driver grabs the a-pillar to brace himself going around turns, LOL. Motor sounds good.
  21. And another thing: Don't be put off by having a Indian rifle. The 2A is actually quite a bit better (in my opinion) than a British enfield, as the steel is substantially stronger and the 7.62 Nato round is much more practical than the .303. The Indians coated them in a thick black paint (over the normal finish which I believe is park.) and preserved them in cosmoline but it looks like your sporter is cleaned up quite a bit. Make sure it extracts correctly as the Enfields like to break extractor springs (they're $7). I can give you more info on them if you want.
  22. I have had two of the Indian Enfield 2As for awhile now. When they were imported a few years ago they sold for around $170-$200 but have gone up to the $250-$320 range. Probably not a trade up in your case, but maybe a trade sideways? The enfields are great shooters and are generally pretty accurate. Normal accuracy is about 4moa with surplus ammo out of the box, and there are lots of tricks for accurizing enfields. Below is a pic of a group I shot today in the wind and a pic of what the military stock looks like. You're welcome to come shoot mine if you want to try before you trade. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=704&pictureid=5803 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=704&pictureid=5802
  23. Is it an old Tasco Super Sniper? One of the best if not the best thing Tasco ever made. Most Tascos in my experience are absolute junk, and break if you look at them funny. The Super Snipers were very good though for what they were.
