  1. Anything to get the fanboyz all riled up. What a bunch of turds. Recommend more Le Mans.
  2. watch out! It might actually not be an underpowered POS like the rover v8. Recommend M5 parts.
  3. Is that a BMW engine? Does it have vanos?
  4. The spev-v sentras are kinda cool, especially for a sentra. But you can get them in a manual, they are cheap, and the GT-R is neither.
  5. or chip for cheap? And the Porsche won't have gay transfer case explosion, smg fail, hood-ram extension-fail, ricer "R", and it doesn't come from the same company that makes the sentra.
  6. It's worth it to you, not to me. When they fall to the $1000-$1200 range like the 556 did, I'll consider. Right now, it's just the "new hot thing." I'd be a lot more interested in the .30cal version, but not for >$1200.
  7. Unless of course your enemies are wearing good goggles, a soft vest, helmet, or they're behind glass. The .223/5.56 is basically a .22lr (yes, it is) with 50% more mass and 2000 fps more. That doesn't mean it won't kill you form a long way away through a sheet of metal.
  8. Great, just great. Now when you have British electrical issues, you can park it next to my triumph. Ha!
  9. Man the gun forum has been getting some genius posters lately. I agree man, you're going to need to rent and decide. Or, you could just get a sweet $400+ .22 ar. I like my ar15s because they're all black, and they match with my ninja outfit... although sometimes it's hard to carry my bowstaff and rifle at the same time.
  10. yeah, you really can't compare the two very well. The 10/22 is like the AR or the .22 world. There is such an aftermarket for them it's ridiculous. Paying $400+ for a .22 plinker is kind of stupid if you ask me. I have a cmmg .22 conversion I've used in may of my ARs, and it's fine for $180. Not as accurate as my 10/22, but it's a plinker so it doesn't matter.
  11. it really isnt goint to do anything a 10/22 won't for less than half as much. The .22 ars are pretty much for people who want to look cool, but are too cheap to get the real deal. Why kid yourself? Mark's idea isn't bad either. If you already have an AR, getting a .22 bolt is a great idea for under $200.
  12. Back to stock. You sound kind of like you're all over the place here bud. Also, if you're doing any significant amount of driving at freeway speed, ditch the 4.10s.
  13. Shit, I ride there all the time. Hope he gets well in time to enjoy some summer riding!
  14. Yeah, I would pay the $900 that SHOULD cost, but it really isn't much different than a $600 AR with a piston kit and less room for modification. F that. Especially since AIM is trying to get $2300 or whatever for them. That's like buying an $80k dollar mustang.
  15. Haha, me too!!! License Status as of 04/06/2010: VALID ENDORSEMENTS: MOTORCYCLE RESTRICTIONS: NONE ***END OF DRIVER RECORDS***
  16. It's too bad. That wasn't a bad deal really. You can sell drugs and whores, but not guns.
  17. I have one and rarely shoot it. For target shooting, it's basically a garand that you don't have to reload quite as much. Accuracy out of my regular NON mall-ninja m1a is about what you'd expect from a factory battle rifle. I think they're far too expensive for what they are. If it was a full USGI parts rifle with a forged receiver, I'd be a little more excited but it's hard to pay $1200 for a rifle that's a compromise of quality. Kind of like a sig 556.

    Oh yes

How's that running with the pod filters? My CBs absolutely HATE anything that isn't a stock airbox/filter.
  19. The S4 had the 2.7tt motor here in 2000, 2001, and 2001.5 (kinda a 2002). After that, they're 4.2 v8 until the spanking new ones. The V8 is a great motor, and the b6 v8 s4s have less issues than the b5 2.7tt, but they're pretty much how they come. If you want to modify it at all, you had better go with a b5 out of the two, as they are fast for cheap, inexpensive to buy, and have great interiors and driving experience. They do have a lot of issues though, and you'll be fixing stuff a bit.
  20. You'll be happy for about 5 seconds, and then realize it's American and everything isn't wrapped in sumptous european leather and want to sell it. Just get a rover.
  21. Yeah, but they'll want to charge me a fortune probably. It looks like an $80 rebuild kit is going to be about as much as buying a replacement, so F that.
  22. Does anyone know a local place that can rebuild rear shocks? I have a 99' cr250 with no damping, and instead of buying a used one for $120, would a rebuild be cheaper? Thanks
