  3. Dumbass puts his hand on his ass. Rule #1 of getting your ass spanked with a leather belt.. Do NOT put your hand on your ass, it won't make them stop and it won't make it hurt less only more. I get what the title was saying "father gives his nephew..." The dude's a dad but that wasn't his kid. The guy has the right idea by humiliating the kid from doing that shit anymore, but he needs to set a better influence than that... Not to start the parenting argument, that's just my view on it.
  4. That's disturbing. And the reason I don't go to theaters anymore.
  5. 6. Yeah, Rusty left to go to a dealership closer to his home. He was replaced by a great guy named Marty. Marty has been in the industry for eons and has been everything from a tech to running a dealer. He decided he wanted to go back to working on cars so was a tech at byers for a while until Rusty left then filled his seat. to Marty, give him a shot.
  7. I have a Droid 2 global, am unsure of what is iPoop compatible or not so I am only listing for android devices, these are a couple apps I've run into so far that I use quite often. Astro File Utility - Utility app. - FREE -tool used to install .apk files you transfer to your phone from your computer Applanet - like market but more applications - FREE - applanet.com (will have to register) Audiogalaxy- music -FREE - audiogalaxy.com will sync the music on your computer and stream it to your phone... only downside is this streams so it will suck down battery faster than adding the music files to your phone. But saves phone memory. *Note, just noticed not all of my music from my "My music" folder was not added to the playlist....? Barcode scanner - shopping/application finding - FREE - scans barcodes on products and pulls up internet pricing, also will scan QR barcodes that lots of application websites use. ConvertPad - conversion tool - FREE - input a number and it gives you conversions for just about everything you could need. Comes in handy at work when I'm converting nm torques to lb/ft. DroidLight - duh - FREE - tried lots of different ones, this one has been the best one that is for just plain light using the camera flash. Google Translate - translation - FREE - Once again I use this for work because lots of shit is German. GPS Tracker - gps location - FREE - will have to create an account, but once installed works well with an app I'll list "Where's my Droid" if I lose my phone I can send a text to it via google voice or someone elses phone to manually turn on the GPS signal then use wheres my droid app to send me gps coordinates of my phone then turn GPS back off. Pretty slick. Ringdroid - ringtone generator - FREE - edit the music you have on your phone to make them your own personal ring tones. Speedview Free - driving - FREE - fun app just to dork around with. Gives you "0-60" times and "1/4 mile" times for when you're out driving on a closed course. Also gives you heading, speed, altitude, trip, can even give you a heads up display that you lay your phone on your dash and reflects up onto the windshield. Stopwatch & Timer - stopwatch - FREE - My blackberry didn't have a stopwatch, and I didn't think I would ever need one but there have been a few times where I've come across the need for having one but didn't have one. TuneIn Radio - web radio - FREE - Can listen to radio stations all over the world, anywhere you have service in the world. Not all stations are playable, but CD101 is so I can listen to CD101 anywhere I have signal. Unblock Me Free - game - FREE - addictive single player game. object is to move the brown wood blocks out of the red wooden block's way to get the red block off of the board. Google Voice - voicemail - FREE - You have to have a google voice account, but it gives you transcriptions of your voicemails into text, and gives them in list form that's playable like the web version. Also enables you to make outgoing calls/texts using your google voice phone number. Where's My Droid - Oh shit I lost my phone app - FREE - Send a text to your phone from your friends phone or google voice to either make your phone ring as loud as it can for a selectable amount of time (will override if you have your phone on vibrate/silent) or send back a text message of the coordinates of your phone depending on the text you send your phone. I suggest adding GPS tracker so you can remotely turn on GPS as well so you don't have GPS on all the time sucking down battery. Antoine Dodson - soundboard - FREE - Funny soundboard of the bedroom intruder guy Instant Buttons - soundboard - FREE - Misc sounds, set them as ring tones, hit them at the perfect time for great gag's, lots of good sounds in this one. That's all I have now. I know there's lots of great applications for this phone, who else has some good applications?
  8. Less than an Evo X MR... Congrats on the new car, it's always fun getting new toys. Especially ones that not many other people have yet.
  9. I'm trolling tonight... So quick reply. It happened as soon as I got the phone. The guy at Verizon store Easton tonight (Branden) said if this update didn't fix any of the issues to take it back in and he will do a back up of the phone and then a hard reset. It's been documented that I was in there tonight for this issue so if I have these issues down the road I'll use tonight as my excuse to get out of the phone. I have high hopes for it getting resolved and keeping the phone I have right now though, I'm sure it's a software and not hardware problem.
  10. I love independent racing movies. I'm not into drag racing but I'll watch that. Best racing "movie" (documentary) I've seen lately is Love the Beast. I know it's been mentioned on here, if you haven't seen it, watch it.
  11. I put the google music app you linked a week or so ago on my phone, does it in that application. Tried winamp, winamp does it as well. I guess I will try to convert the wma to mp3 then upload to phone. I have launcher pro, best thing since sliced bread for the android. I'll look into applanet and audio galaxy right meow. Thanks for the help guys. PS, took the phone into Verizon tonight to see if they had anything. Did an update that was released yesterday and it still does the media player issue but have not had the issue with unlocking yet (only unlocked like 4 times since i've been back from the store. Sooooooo glad I have the droid though. An iPhone would have cost me about 100 bucks in all the apps I've downloaded, also would have run a lot slower, and when I needed some customer service I wouldn't have gotten any. Verizon (Easton and Polaris stores) and Motorola!
  12. First off, yes, another android/iPhone thread. I've had this phone for a week. It's fun, it's fast and pretty seamless with anything I use on it. I bought this time to mostly use for music and text though. I put music on the memory card as soon as I got home. I have all my music ripped as wma files onto my computer. After about 35-50 seconds the music stops (doesn't pause, like press play before unlocking phone and the song starts over). Doesn't matter if the screen is off or not. I've checked all the settings for power save, music, etc, STILL does it. Tried removing the music and then adding different music. Still does it. Before I go to Verizon bitching about this concern does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, I'm certain it's an operator error. I've only had two other issues with the phone. One is when unlocking screen after turning screen back on the phone has reset a couple time. The other is just today I've tapped the screen in one spot and a different spot on the screen will highlight and select. I'm not fat fingering, or accidentally touching that part before the part I want selected. The things I DO like though is that I can kick on Wi-Fi in my house and insta connect to my wireless and browse on my phone wherever nice and quickly. The applications are great, blackberry doesn't have shit on this. They are actually useable and easily obtainable/installable. The phone is also stupid fast, too. The keyboard is very easy to use, the top buttons are hard to press though with the Body Glove protective cover I have. They could have added a larger gap above the keyboard and screen part that slides for covers. Camera is great, it loads quickly and focus' very well. The pictures save stupid fast so I can snap another shot quickly unlike the POS blackberry I had. The phone audio quality is great. The speaker on the back gets loud for ringing when i'm at work, and the earpiece sounds clear and is easy to adjust volume for the people who like to talk softly or with their phone down their throat. There's lots of other small things I really like about the phone, all in all I'm pleased. I am glad with my choice and wouldn't get a different phone for what I use it for so long as I get the music player fixed. Cliffnotes -Audio player on Droid 2 doesn't work properly -Phone reset a couple times -Other than those few things the phone is great Anyone have any ideas?
  13. True. Now that I think about it though wouldn't RTV silicon work better because it stays a gel/fluid as opposed to a solid like JB (I've seen JB crack). Brandon, I have a spare coilpack in my garage you can borrow that I found this AM. I'll find your OBD thread and re-text you.
  14. Red x. That picture url says Beru_epoxy (coil MFR, and epoxy not JB weld) anyway... Also, I've never heard of JB weld holding up for any length of time if at all.
  15. take it off. Use hair dryer and dry the shit out of it. Then wipe off any dirt/grime and use some epoxy all over it to keep it from arcing. That will hold you off. I've heard surprising good results with the ebay ones.
  16. It is about as dark as the dark spots in the first one. While dark looks REAL nice when it's kept immaculate, it'll scuff and scratch showing the nasty not so nice material underneath.
  17. The brighter the better. I have dark "engineered" in my entire house. It shows EVERY scuff and scratch, also when it rains/ snows out it looks like trash after one person walks in. Do you have a basement/slab/crawlspace? If slab/basement then a good baseboard is all you'll need. If a crawlspace make sure you insulate the hell out of the crawlspace because the floor will be FREEZING in the winter. I know because I don't have insulation in the crawlspace.
  18. Check if they added an email account as a backup to your paypal account. Also, change the password for the email that paypal is associated with. I'd be down for a road trip. I'm sick of shitheads who steal. (see my post a few months ago about worthless neighbors who broke into my back yard and stole wheels off of a car in my back yard.
  19. You're second owners I take by it being CPO. Have you had dealer do all services since you bought it. If you have, then you're talking to the wrong people. If not then they see it as the car has been neglected and probably won't work with you.
  20. Great work Randy. Keep on keepin on!
  21. I understand what you're saying. I think it's part of the way the house is plumbed, but I'm confident that if I had an old school water heated I would have hot water faster to the faucet. Maybe it's a volume/flow issue as my water pressure is fairly low.
  22. Installed. Don't like the OE player on my D2Global. But I have a problem with this and the OE music player pausing the music after just under a minute of play. Checked all power/sound settings, I don't have a clue.
  23. Because when I turn on the faucet the heater senses that the hot water is on and turns on burners then the water inside has to heat up. As opposed to it always being heated in a tank heater. My lines that are in the crawlspace are insulated with the foam tube stuff. Ideally they would have a small couple gallon tank with these "tankless" heaters so it wouldn't cost as much to heat 20+ gallons but would be able to heat water instantly. Bam! Hot water, faster.
  24. UrS6 Avant. Sick. Drunken, I think not...
