I'd rather get all terrain tires. Cheaper and most work as well as winter rated tires in snow. V10's are nice, but literally twice as much as the V8 and the only difference in this V8 and the V10TDI is the engine, every other option is there.

Check your contract and see if they have a way to weasel out of not having to fix it immediately/reimburse your for alternative accommodations. If they don't contact them ASAP and tell them you have ZERO heat and they need a crew out post haste. If they cannot get a crew out there then you will be occupying a hotel with similar accommodations as your apartment/condo (aka a suite with kitchen, etc) and will be footing the bill...

It only glows cherry red when there is an uncontrollable amount of hydrocarbons getting into the exhaust system that is not being burned off in the combustion cycle. Red cat =/= to clogged cat. red cat means the catalyst material is burning hotter than it should usually because of wayy overfueling. Also, cat's should be warmer than the rest of the exhaust for two reasons. 1: it's closer to the engine than the muffler's. 2: it's performing a chemical reaction to burn off unburned hydrocarbons that didn't get ignited in the combustion cycle. Try to take out your pre-cat oxygen sensor if the car is chugging along, that should allow enough exhaust gasses to escape for the car to run better than it was.

I still for the life of me cannot get gold in 2 of the B license events. A, IB, IA, I'm fine with but these two are kicking my ass. The one is with the Pugeot at Tsukuba and the other is the next test at Nurburgring GP track. Examples don't even get close to the gold time... I can get within .050-.070 of getting gold on the first but about .500-.800 on the second. Any pointers?
