    Jeep guys

Yep. Those look sick. couldn't justify spending that much though when you can buy a lifted wrangler 4x4 with decent wheels/tires for 1500
  2. Let me rephrase that... German car nutswinger. 1984: http://image.europeancarweb.com/f/8596115/0506ec_07z+1984_Audi_Sport_Quattro+Front_Passenger_Side_View.jpg 2010: http://lexusenthusiast.com/images/weblog/09-05-26-lexus-lfa-rendering.jpg 2010: http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/12/2010/11/500x_quattro1.jpg The only thing argument you have is that there is a gap between the front bumper and hood. On the Sport Quattro's that is a scoop that's in the hood. http://www.aliallage.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/0701_sccp_04zsubaru_impreza_rs_gc8right_front.jpg But wait, the skoobies came after the Ur-Sport Quattro, also. :gtfo:
  3. Sick. But reading automobile mag (the magazine's a joke I know, but I got it for free ) it seems like it's very limited numbers of production. Is going to be getting it's own frame based off the RS5 frame, but will be aluminum spaceframe (similar to the A8) with some carbon fiber panels its weighting about the same as the Sport Quattro and a 5cyl turbo (the Ur-Quattro had a n/a 5 cyl, the Sport Quattro got the turbo) that pumps out 402 HP and 354 lb-ft tq out of a 2.5L. If they keep it to a limited production (~5000 or less) I'm saying it will still cost more than 85k. As for it being a LFA ripoff... Definitely not. http://www.uncrate.com/men/images/2010/09/audi-quattro-concept-xl.jpg http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/resources/2007/12/lexus_lfa_det.jpg http://image.europeancarweb.com/f/8596115/0506ec_07z+1984_Audi_Sport_Quattro+Front_Passenger_Side_View.jpg
  4. Still got the microwave? I could use one at work.
  5. I don't have customers come back bitching that their tires are leaking when I don't install new parts that aren't needed. I have happier customers because I just saved them $100 on unnecessary parts. Not trying to get into a pissing match here, or tell you how to do your job. What I'm trying to say is sure, put an estimate together for each car showing that they will NEED the parts POSSIBLY. Then once you get the wheel apart inspect the grommet for tearing/deterioration. Then sell them the new part, if need be. Each car should be different, some will need them while others won't. Know what I mean?
  6. Ha. Most dealers doesn't do this unless there is damage to the rubber grommet causing it to leak. Why spend money where you don't have to?
  7. if you bed it properly it shouldn't glaze. if for some reason it does just take a die grinder and scuff them up a bit and try again.

    DVD Rip

Not during reading or writing. It is while the files are on the computer already and being analyzed (converted) into a file that can be written onto the disc, I'm confident it is in the software. But I will be getting another DVD writer to try that one, and to possibly simultaneously rip/burn and avoid the issue of putting the media onto my hard drive. I'm gona try DVD Decrypter and see if that solves the issue before I pop this new writer in though.
  12. Def try some place that has the wii fit like pad that shows where the high/low pressure is on your feet to set you up with the right insoles. It'll make it worth every penny. Try the good feet store, red wing shoes, etc.

    DVD Rip

I'm old school and like a physical copy... I've also had too many HDD failures to count on them, until they come out with 1TB solid state drives that won't break the bank... But then again part of the reason is because I don't know of a good software to be able to rip the media into a file that is readable by my computer or PS3. Patterson, it can't be the burner. The analyzing happens before the blank disc is put into the drive and the analyzing is where I ran into the error.
  14. I'll PM you later with my compiled list Right now because of the tests shes going through she has to maintain a normal diet (now that celiac has been officially ruled out the likelyhood of increased cancer risk and lymphoma are lowered) which is craptastic for her because she feels like a ton of bricks after she eats even though her appetite has decreased drastically since she started showing symptoms a few months ago. Does your wife have an allergy to gluten or is it actually Coeliac? My great and had an allergy to some weird food item (weird like wheat is) and went to a doctor that put her on a special diet that had her build up a tolerance to the food so that eventually she could eat it normally. We're waiting on finding out what my GF has before we contact this doctor, though.
  15. Try getting onto 270 at Rt 3 right where 3 trucking companies are with dump trucks and concrete trucks. My cars have had the shit beat out of them because of the stuff left on the pavement that gets kicked up after they're long gone let alone having to be behind one of them on the on-ramp. It's bull shit to say they're not liable. They are. You have to secure your load. The sign is there to keep people off their asses more than people already tailgate and the people that are too lazy to check into legal action against them for damages.

    DVD Rip

Who uses what? I have DVD shrink to rip the DVD's and Nero to burn to new discs. Just recently I've come up with some error when using Nero trying to analyze the files that DVD shrink made of the disc causing Nero to close. I'm not sure why it's happening all of the sudden but I'm thinking my software just isn't up to par anymore with the new copyright infringement stuff (since I've not done this in a while) and wanted to see what you guys were using nowadays. I have DVD shrink 3.2 (this IS up to date) and Nero 6 ultimate (this is not).
  17. True. People have been/are allergic to water. And you may be made up of water, but it's how your body processes it that makes you allergic. My GF's cousin has celiacs disease and a close friend of mine also has it. He was telling me that if he ingests something with wheat in it he gets bloated like a balloon and feels miserable for a day or two until its out of his body. If you do have celiac and ingest too much wheat/gluten you're putting yourself at high risk for gastrointestinal cancer and/or lymphoma. My girlfriend also becomes bloated and uncomfortable after eating products that contain wheat/gluten and has gone through a barrage of tests including a biopsy of her stomach to see if she does have celiac. While on the gluten free diet she did get the sick feeling she got when eating something with gluten and I didn't know that it had to contain less than 2%, it now seems possible that some of her foods could have been "contaminated". Please let me know if you come up with any good gf recipes that aren't real time consuming or consist of foods that are hard to come by/stupid expensive, we've not found anything that she really likes yet.
  18. What stupid rich kids do with their parents money in Palm Beach....
  19. x85474723823932458345eleventy923492823932^99 That asshole deserves to sit and rot in isolation for the rest of his life. Has he never cared for anyone? What a sick bastard.
  20. I'm wondering why the Corrado VR6 was on the list and not the G60. HA.

    Volkswagon

I understand this. It honestly wasn't that comfortable. Ergonomically a CC is much more comfortable. And an A8L V8 is more fun to drive. The controls are everywhere in the Phaeton and the center console is a mess. Not easy. My dad's Touareg has literally almost as many bells and whistles but is SOOOOOOOO much easier to control. And for sure 4 zero's beats one O.

    Volkswagon

Have you driven one? They are BORING (granted I've only driven/worked on a V8, not a W12). I'm sure the W12 is a different story, but I am just not a fan of them Phaeton. If I were to spend that kind of coin on a car it would have rings.
