We could set up a real race at the dragstrip, best 2 out of 3 and I would pay $$$ to the Winner out of my own pocket, just so I could watch it in a safe place.

Rob's a street racer and tight lipped on his set-up, but I believe it has Indy heads, a big progressive nitrous set-up, 29.5 slicks, etc. It's a faster set-up than when I ran him years ago in my black Supra. I imagine it runs low 9's on the street in the 160's....
Maybe a tad bit faster than that ( lol )

Some people think that are so Bad Ass that they can whoop anyone.

i'll get them rebalanced. i never had this happen with the other nittos. they were never quite perfect as far as balance goes.
Try to find a place that offers a Road Force Balance....
Those are big tires and rims and for the best results, you can't beat a road force balance.

PS--getting the pair done should cost around $45.00 + tax

Kirk;
Please don't take this as me being a smartass, but why didn't you get the CTS-V Wagon instead ?
My friend has an 09 V like yours and has some modifications. Motor makes
605 hp. Fun as all heck.

PS---love the videos.

No wait a minute, there is NO place for one of those girls to rest their feet.
HMMMMMMM !!!!!
What should we to help her ??

What ET's are you hoping to obtain with your Mustang, once it is all sorted out ?
The car looks great.
I wish you the best in MI.

Sweet video, I would love to see how fast my civic would go in a mile.
Without never seeing your car in person but reading over the stats, I would guess it would run 168 mph.
What do you honestly think it would run ?

I am totally confused with this thread ???

Shotgun 870
For the handgun if your not gonna CCW it get a full size 45. Its has a big slow bullet that in most cases will not exit the house if you miss your target. If you are going to dual purpose home and CCW a 40 is a good idea. The bullet is faster, smaller and has more snap when fired. It can be more dangerous because it can bounce around or leave your house if you miss.
Bottom line go rent and shoot everything you can before buying. PM me i will let you shoot all my stuff also just pay for range time and my rounds.
You can RENT Guns ???
I did not know that.
Would I go to a shooting range for that or what ?
Thanks
Chuck
I am not sure that I will get a ccw but with enough training and safety, I may.
I have never been in trouble with the law, so NO record.
I would have to very comfortable with the handgun before I would do that.

Just thought you guys should know about this:
Just thought that you should read this ASAP.....
http://www.gop.gov/blog/10/04/08/oba...are-taxes-home
Briefly starting in 2013 you will be taxed 3.8% of the total sale of your house.
They will use that money to pay for his Health Care Program.
Time to register to vote for 2012.

I actually probably won't make it. Family reunion in Pittsburgh that weekend.
I think we met already BUCK at Dragway 42 a couple of years ago.
I was there with the Charger group and I tried to get you to race the green Daytona R/T but something was wrong with your car.

I will be at this meet.
If you come to it please come over and introduce yourself.
I will be cruising the pits in a maroon Hyundai Sonata.

Go shoot or otherwise handle different guns to see what is comfortable for you. I wouldn't suggest starting with a .40 if you haven't done any shooting before. Everyone is just going to tell you their personal preferences, you have to make your own.
I have not shot any weapons since 1976.
I plan on going to a local shooting site and ask questions, lots of questions.
In fact the only hand gun I have ever shot was a .22 cal.
I have never fired a round out of a shotgun bigger then a .20 gauge.
With the way our society is becoming, I have started to feel it is better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks guys for your advice

Now...with that out of the way.
For home protection go with the less expensive pump action shotgun. Your are likely going to fire only one shot and with a pump action, you don't have to worry about the shell not cycling the action for some reason. The pump action is more reliable, IMO.
Go with a .40cal semi-auto pistol, such as a Glock 23 or a Springfield XD. Fantastic pistols for the money and extremely reliable for self-defense.
Thank You for you advice.

I am looking to get a couple of guns for home protection.
I am looking for a 20 gauge pump or semi auto shotgun.
Which one would you recommend and why ?
I am also looking at getting a handgun of some type.
I would prefer a medium caliber in size like a .357; prefer one with a clip.
Again what would you recommend and why ?
Thanks

On 7-23-11, we are moving our filming location to Quaker City Motorsports Park in Salem, Ohio.
We will need 2 more vehicles for this shoot. I already have one in place and will need one of each with the following criteria.
I need a Rear Wheel Drive V8 vehicle, must be street legal, as you will have to drive it for 50 miles between filming to mix in the ACES products.
I will also need an AWD vehicle again street legal, prefer 4 cylinder turbo, or awd V6 turbo.
Let me know if you have one; what kind of vehicle and you are willing to go on TV; get some FREE trips down the 1/4 mile & have some fun.
Thanks

Earlier this year I gave one of my Turbo Mini Vans to my youngest son as a wedding gift.
We both went to the BMV and told them that it was a gift and there was NO QUESTIONS asked by them and no taxes were paid by my son.

Our last couple of filming on the dyno were interesting to say the least.
On 6-25-11 only two people showed up with their cars.
One was a 2008 Rousch 428r Mustang, which had 2,451 miles.
The owner special ordered the car with all Rousch options.
The motor made a best non-Aces pull of 386.3 rwhp & 367.7 rwtq.
After the ACES IV & III were added and given time to work their way into the system the motor ended up making 396.1 rwhp & 372.5 rwtq.
Of final gains were 9.8 rwhp & 4.8 rwtq.
The other vehicle that was brought for filming was a 2010 Charger R/T.
It came with the new generation 5.7 motor and a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Car was 100% stock and had a best non-ACES pull of 336.3 rwhp & 371.7 rwtq
Then we added in the ACES IV & III Products and had a best pull of
341.5 rwhp & 372.4 rwtq.
That gave us a gain of 5.2 rwhp but ONLY .70 rwtq
I honestly have NO idea as to why the tq was so low compared to the hp gain ?

Yes, I know that.
In fact you can do a roll race at the dragstrip, if you ask in advance.
Just sayin.
