Welcome to CR---at times it is a bit rough in here.

But as they group gets to know you it mellows.

Hell I ran a FWD Turbo-Charged, Inter-Cooled, Methanol Injected, with N20 all stuffed into a Mini Van.

But I am weird and I admit it.

    BTW---nice Mustang.

  2. Going to the DYNO this Saturday:

There will be a Cosworth Vega with a Grand National Motor in it.

    A 2010 ROUSCH Mustang

    and a 2010 Charger R/T.

Soon we will be going to some local Drag Strips, Nelson Ledges, and Barberton Speedway.

BTW---We are talking about coming to Columbus to National Trails.

Would any of you be willing to put your vehicle up for filming ???

----This is just a PROMO DVD, for now and will ONLY be played at BIG SHOT DYNO this Saturday, we have to get the commercials added and then to the TV Stations.

If all goes well we should be on the TV around 6-21-11.

    I will keep you posted.

  4. I also wanted to let everyone know that the TV Host wants to only film 3 cars per shooting starting in June.

We did have a last minute cancellation for this Saturday, so we have our needed 3 vehicles.

I would really like to have some more vehicles to film, so if you have either a FWD or RWD vehicle and you are willing to be on TV, post up or PM me if you rather !!

  5. Prior to adding the ACES 3 oil formula, the engine on the Porsche had a very noticable ticking sound (lifter tick) and ran slightly rough. After adding the ACES to the engine oil on the 928, the ticking noise went away completely and the engine sounds like it is running much smoother.

On the way to the dyno the 928 averaged 18.3mpg. After the ACES IV was put into the gas tank, the return trip home averaged 19.2mpg.

The before and after Dyno results showed that the car had picked up 9HP and 8RWTQ once the ACES was added to the car.

    Tina;

Can you scan the dyno sheets and post then in here ?

Where you driving the same speed on the interstate both ways ?

Are you still using the ACES IV product in the Porsche ?

    Thanks

    Chuck

  6. Ron Hester came with a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 with a 6-speed automatic and 1,800 miles.

Car is 100% stock, here is what he wrote to me:

    Hi guys,

Here is my write-up from Saturday's testing.

    Thanks again!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had an interesting dyno experience this past Saturday, 4/30. I was able to take my new 2011 Mustang GT up to Big Shot Performance in Tallmadge, OH, to help test the ACES products from BND Automotive. I have been a customer of BND for a couple of years now, I use their ACES IV fuel catalyst in my other cars, and even my gas-powered lawn equipment. I have not used any of their products in my new Mustang, as the engine was still in the break-in process. It now has over 1800 miles on it, so this was a good time to use it for this test. The entire test was filmed by BTTO Production, and there are many other vehicles being used for these tests, so it will be interesting to see the results from different vehicles. These tests will be aired starting in June on various cable TV networks, I’ll post the times when I know them.

We are testing the ACES 3 oil formula and the ACES IV fuel catalyst on a dyno, to determine the actual improvements seen on the cars performance. My car has the 6-speed automatic transmission, so the runs were done in 3rd gear. The car was tested on the dyno to determine it’s baseline, and had a best pull of 366.1 hp and 352.4 lb-ft of torque on that run. Then the ACES 3 was added to the engine, and the ACES IV was added to the fuel, each with the proper mixture. The car was then run for about 10 minutes on the dyno at normal speeds to circulate, then turned off and allowed to cool. After it had cooled off for about 15 minutes (with the hood open and the blower fan running in front the car), it was started up and did 3 more dyno pulls, then turned off and allowed to cool again. Then it was restarted and did 3 more dyno pulls to get the results. Some interesting observations from the last pulls- the engine had a noticeably smoother sound to it (hard to describe, but less “tinny” and more smooth) and you could actually smell the extra carbon being cleaned out of the engine by the smell of the exhaust! The best pull out of the last 3 showed 370.8 hp, and 356.5 lb-ft of torque.

So, for simply adding these two formulas to my car, I gained 4.7 hp and 4.1 lb-ft. of torque. I also noticed an improvement in my fuel mileage. Using the readout for AVG MPG in my car, which has been pretty accurate for me, I had an average of 24.4 mpg on the way there in the morning (at 50 deg. F), and had 25.5 mpg on the way home (at 70 deg. F). While these are small improvements in my case, all the testing was done on film and had consistent results, so these are definite improvements! I noticed in my older car, that the cleaning and lubricating properties of the ACES IV continued to improve the running of that car through about 2 tank-fulls, then leveled off at that point.

I enjoyed having the opportunity to test these products and get measurable, verifiable results from them!
