  1. Little background on myself. I worked the live pet dept at Petsmart in Las Vegas, 2 seperate fish stores, a background in zoology, forestry and oceanography. I've ran my own aquarium business years ago. I also managed (after starting out as cage cleaner), Planet Pets in California. I was responsible for the majority of the inventory and was responsible for generating more business than the store had seen in recent years. Admittedly, I've gotten a bit behind on the newest products, etc, but have no problems reimmersing myself in such things as it's all part of a passion I have for animals.

I'm curious about pay and hours/days. Please, let me know. Thanks.

Yeah, don't think I can compete with this guy...pick him.

  2. If I were in that line of work, I'd likely carry a taser and a gun. Then when in that exact situation, I would put them down with the Taser without hesitation, restrain the individual with something. Immediately call the cops, wait until they arrive, file a report and continue doing my job.

Can't say for sure as I'm not in that line of work. All I know is when I have my gun on my person or in my car, my very last resort is to pull it because I'm under the belief that you don't pull it out unless you're 100% prepared to take a life. A repo, especially if it's just my job, isn't worth my living with all that comes with killing someone.

Can't wait to hear the details.

Right on. From the sounds of it, this guy didn't really seem like he was ligitmately going to hurt/kill...but, I wasn't there. I also agree with not pulling the weapon unless you are fully prepared to take a life. The law is very clear about the burden of proof that you feared for your life/safety before you can use deadly force. I just hope I am never put in a situation where I have to find out.

  3. Very nice so far. My wife carries a S&W 442 Airweight .38 snub. So easy to conceal. I had the same gun but sold it to get the Glock. Would like to get a quality 1911 but they are so expensive. Shot my broth-in-laws Rock Island Armory .45 yesterday...nasty. I am currently looking for a decent should holster to carry my Glock in. If anyone has suggestions I would like to hear them.
  4. I am from Gahanna...screw those guys. They suck. They used to piss me off in high school. A couple of freshmen skateboarding by k-mart and they call back up! 5 cop cars necessary for 4 or 5 Sophomores? They have nothing better to do than harass people. Same thing with Westerville and New Albany.
  5. Just got back from mediation. Surprisingly to his credit, he showed up with his girlfriend. Unsurprisingly though, he refused to refund me the money and the best he could do was offer to have someone fix the turbo (which he also claimed was perfect) for $60-$70,. I told him it's impossible to properly rebuild and re-balance a turbo in Columbus, and for that price. Even after I presented all the documents supporting his claim, and his guarantees, including his guarantee to refund me, he is still willing to go to court. So I guess that is where it is going.
  6. bring on the snow! I hope we get 20 inches like we did 2 years ago and i can put my 4wd to use and make some money towing women and Somalians out of snow drifts.
  7. Red or white....where do I get it?

    No need...i'm allowed. lmao

It is a White Sparkling out of California (Champagne). I had a bottle of 1999 Dom P on my wedding night which was a $170 bottle and I would much prefer this $20 bottle. Obviously you know your wife's tastes better than any of us (I hope that would be the case) but I say maybe you buy a bottle and try it first to see if you like it. My wife loves this stuff and I have to say, i enjoy it very much as well and I usually don't like any white wines. I found it at Whole Foods and higher end Kroger's that have a good wine selection. This is what it looks like.
