So, in the falconry world, one of our jobs is to dispatch prey that our raptor catches as quickly as possible to reduce suffering. That being said, many falconers utilize an ice pick. Most of us use a $5 made in china ice pick off ebay or amazon, which works perfectly fine. But, being a hillbilly, (or would it be redneck now? My roots are from Appalachia, but I have lived in TX for 9yrs...) with a taste for the finer things in life, I decided to start handcrafting some of my own shivs, shanks, picks, spikes, whatever you want to call them. Attached are some pics of what I've made. I don't have a lathe, drill press, or band saw, so these are all made with hand tools, and a few power tools I have that are being used in ways they were never meant to be used. I was also wondering, does anyone ever use picks to chip ice for their drinks anymore, or is that a thing of the past? Because these could be used for something like that too i'd imagine if you have a fancy bar setup and enjoy entertaining.

Death rate v confirmed cases is going to be way off with a ton of people not even being tested.

My wife had an unproductive horrible cough back around Jan for like a month. She said she doesn't recall if she had fever or body aches but it felt like her chest was being constrained, like someone sitting on it. It was pretty bad. The kids got it too but for a much shorter duration. The weird thing is, I did not, and I usually catch everything and it's usually pretty bad when I get sick. The common cold really takes me out.

Yeah, I looked. Striking out. I was also looking at the Regal GS for sh*ts and giggles (which is out of my price range and also hard to find in the configuration I like) and those look like neat cars too.

I run amsoil signature which he had in a series of videos comparing like 20 oils and amsoil came out on top.

The ones around here have also been 2-3x more than I am trying to spend anyway.

That guy makes a LOT of helpful videos. I've been watching him for a while now. He's helped guide me in a lot of purchases, and confirmed my decisions on purchases I've made before watching his video(s) that address said items.
