I have a cam 62x/62x 114 from my N/A stroker build I need to sell.

True. Those are badass rims IMO. Always liked them. Sure the tires look puny, but for towing / street they're probably great.
They aren't to bad for driving. I need to find something to not make them look so small. One of my buddies wants to buy them, so he's helping me look for 20s/22s.

I sure hope that pulls your SS. My 1500 laughed at me when I tried to pull mine. Mines a 2008 5.3 for reference.
Researched it first. Most are towing 6-7k lbs(a few upwards of 15k lbs) with the 6.0 just fine. Its capacity is like 10200, but I think that would be tough. It does 5k fine, tested that for a few miles before I bought it.
Honestly the TB would pull the SS, but it felt like a boat anchor back there.
No it wouldn't, if it's a 6 lug now,It's still the wrong bolt pattern for the TBSS Rims. 6x5 on TBSS and 6x5.5" on 6 lug Chevy trucks like sometime in the 90's and up.
Glad its an 8-lug then. I would've been pissed-lol

big ballin at $2.84

Is THAT the OE tire size??
Yup
I wish it wasnt HD. It would have some 20s on it from a TBSS. Now Rims/tires are going to wait for a while.

Traded my 03 TB in for this thing.
2003 Silverado 1500 HD
4x4
LOADED-except moonroof
112k miles (TB had 160k)
LQ4 6.0L
Bought this trailer my SS since the TB obviously couldn't handle 7k lbs.
The pic below is totally untouched right after getting home from the stealership. A few appearance mods are planned with a couple performance down the line.
-tint
-black out chrome
-bed coating
-new front visors
-LSx car coils and NGK plugs w/ TBSS plug wires (DONE-had the crap sitting around)
-FULL detail and paint restore

Rules are made to be broken. That's why we have them!
ROTFLMAO

Everything looks great! Except the TBSS looks like shit.....
I say that with love.

I am GM all the way, but seems they have the worst resembence so far .
Ford and dodge both look great!

Prototype? No, that's the new template already approved by Nascar. As far as the grille opening is concerned, look closer...
http://images.thefirehouse.biz/general/2013%20Sprint%20Cup%20Charger.jpg
And regardless of the car's styling, they will always have different grille openings depending on the track
Fair enough. The proto was similar and had black mesh, but that was a few months ago. Id like to see the wind tunnel results for all of them.
-
that charger looks good for nascar
You realize thats a prototype?
It will NEVER see that much of an opening for cooling when its done. 200+mph with that opening=airborne!! The final car will be more like the nationwide series I'm sure.
But yes, good looking car.
The only problem is that Dodge hasn't found anyone to drive for them next year. They only have one full-time team this year (the two Penske teams) and they are switching to Ford next year.Robby Gordon.
NVM...your right.

For some reason I was thinking "SloMo" Ford Lightening...
Cool video tho.

Sounds like a winner.
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Still waiting on my parts quote. And no matter what the crank wouldnt be in until 7-30-12.
Replacement parts list are as follows:
Eagle 4340 crank Part Number # 356-434740006100 -equivalent to what came out
standard clevite cam bearings Part Number # 695-SH1814S (original look fine but why keep old in a new motor?)
H-series main bearings Part Number # 695-MS2199H (this motor had P...seriously??)
H-series rod bearings Part Number # 695-CB663HN (this motor had P...seriously??)
Total seal gapless rings Part Number # 901-M3690-35 - Mahle originally
All my block work was done by him, bore and torque plate hone, short fill of hardblock, polished the crank and did bearing clearances. also checked the balance.went back later when I switched to the cable drive fuel pump to have some parts turned on the lathe to work for my car and he did not even want to charge me, very nice guy
Good to hear!!! Seems like a good guy so far

Called M&M. Motor should be there in a week or so. Price quote wasn't bad either.
-
Do you need me to swing by and take some close up shots for you?
Maybe show her how take close ups.
-
One word....MACRO
Lol...wanted to make sure you saw it in larger than life size
And its still a crappy pic..

How much more capacity? I went with a high pressure, but standard volume pump with my build because of the stock pan. Does squaring the pan give you enough additional capacity to keep from sucking it dry with a high volume pump?
Total with relo setup is 8-8.5qts. Could squeeze 9 safely if i wanted to.
-
He better not be with a sumped and gated pan.

Here is the barbell that came out. What you see it worse of the sides. The other just has a small section removed.

Stock pickups are a known issue, hard launching, stopping and cornering = oil starvation which is what it appears you have experienced.
Motor had 2100 miles and less than a dozen hard launches. The gate is supposed to prevent oil slosh.
It is oil starvation, but why we dont know. The barbell oring was damaged in spots, both the top and bottom of it. Builder said it was during removal, theres no way. It couldve possibly been damaged during one of 4 rear main seal replacememnts i did trying to fix an oil leek that ended up beinga missing crank cap.
-
What oil pan and oiling system are you using?
Stock modded pan(oil filter adapter removed and squared for more capacity) with gate
Melling 296 pump with HP/HV spring
Oil relo setup using -10 lines from side of block

Dude he's smoking fucking crack if he thinks those oil lines caused that. I'd still like to know the answer about the oil plug...where's that oil flow chart pic that shows the oils path, I wanna see something.

shouldnt be more than 200-250 for a complete one. Depending on what your using it for, get a non HD and swap your diff into it for better gearing.
