Honestly... Meh. 8gb is still plenty for the average consumer, even for gaming. Even if they are different brands, they're still running in dual channel. I doubt you would see noticeable returns after upgrading. Clock speeds Probably wont be too much higher.
Looks like the heat-sink is the only noticeable difference. Probably wont make a difference for you unless you're overclocking and need excessive heat dissipation.

You can get a brand new Kel-Tec PF9 for about $260. Or the P11 if you want a double stack. Power room in powell keeps them in stock.
A friend of mine found a brand new Ruger LC9 at vances last year for $299.
Edit, it appears the retail price of the PF9 has risen. When i purchased mine last year it was $259.99 Brand new in the box.
In concept this MIGHT work, but the risk of condensation forming and really fucking things up is too much for the reward.
Then again, if absolutely nothing else works then what do you have to lose?
Flat blade screwdriver and a coat hanger. I locked the keys in my focus at least 3 times that i can remember. Using a towell/cloth pry the top of the door open with the screw driver, slide coat hanger in, unlock door. Carry on about your day.
How high and what did the drive fall on? Carpet? I find it hard to believe that the drive itself is damaged. More than likely its just the caddy that it sits in has broken somewhere.
I have a IDE-USB cable that should power it up, providing the drive itself isn't broken.
Vacuum leak or alternator.
Does it only do this under certain conditions? IE with the heat or air running?
When you have issues starting, what kind of issues? Low battery symptom, clicking, nothing at all?
We do.
I work for a non-profit mental health organization and the developers that program the medical information system require us to use internet explorer. And they're very specific on which version you have to use. It wont even load with firefox or chrome. Its garbage and outdated software.
However, i installed chrome on all the machines in the agency. There are certain things that work better in chrome than IE. I only use IE when there is a problem with the MIS.
