You gotta look at the grand scheme of things. The models are good at predicting something coming, but often times the location will change. just because we only get an inch or two, doesnt mean someone 2 states over didnt get slammed. Ive learned quite a bit over the last year or two watching storm systems. Im sure you've heard the expression that the weather is unpredictable. well let me tell you, its so true.

next system will be rolling through late this week. This could be the biggest snowfall of the near so far. heres the 48 hour precip from the event. this should be all frozen. Its been faily consistant with a system running from the panhandle of texas through PA. had this same issue with the dakota about a week ago. it did this right after the battery died. as you mentioned, had to hold the gas to keep it from dieing. after that it didnt have any issues. perhaps bad gas or water in the line. i didnt have any issues from it after that.
