they send you a link to a false ebay page. extremely difficult to tell its a hoax website. the one with my father involved "ebay" giving him an account number for a money gram account. since this isnt through paypal, or any other official ebay service, its untracable, and your out money.

what makes you think its a scammer? seems fair enough. heres a true scam i found yesterday http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/1668427144.html i sent an email saying i was interested. i got this long drawn out response my respose to that email.. never received a response. my father almost got scammed out of 3k on a pickup truck a few months back. he got pretty much the exact same reponse that this person sent. wanting us to use ebay, giving him a life story, and setting a dumb price like 2950. he was too stubborn to realize that it was a dead end road for him.

rob, i really appreciate what you have done for me. the number off the old seal is 7300ST. i gave that number to napa AND oreilys and neither of them had anything for that number. i even tried giving them the tremec part number from the service manual and they didnt have anything for that number either. again, i appreciate it. i will be going there after i finish this nasty frozen pizza, and take a poop.

rob, i called hanlon last friday, and gave them the number off the seal, but it wasnt a tremec part number. the seal came from a place called timken up in canton. some special seal company. would it be possible for you to go grab that part number for me and ill see if napa has it.
