I know there is a couple HVAC guys on here. My furnace is acting up and it got my wife freaked out. She says it's making a sound like rotors scraping on a car. I'm out of town and can't do anything but try and find someone trustworthy to look at it. She tells me it's supposed to get colder the next few day and I have a baby at the house. I'm looking for someone who could come tomorrow or Monday to check it out if possible.

I'll find out from the wife in the AM who we used for our trip to Hawaii.

I'm on a job right now and the general Contractor is union. The other day they had words with our higher ups saying that because we have a forklift to unload our own material that someone with their company's doesn't have a job. I was warned by their safety to always wear my safety glasses. I took them off and had them in my hand because they fogged up and froze. I was standing in an area where no work was going on. I asked him why nothing is said about there guys being allowed to wear their hard hats backwards which is clearly a violation and why they don't tie down their argon tanks. I then got a visit from my boss saying to keep my mouth shut. Unions are a joke and not needed.

I bought an SCT tuner from a sponsor here and it made a huge difference on performance in my F150. It has a fuel economy setting on it but that's boring. It made a really slow truck into a slow truck.

Yeah as I was typing I thought I remembered you having that Ram for sale here. I'm hoping the new truck last me many years to come. If I sell the F150 and you still have GTP maybe we will talk. I'm going to wait til spring to sell it since it's 2wd. A Comp G would make a great 2nd car for the wife. She always loved my 98 GTP.

What kind of trades you looking for? I've got an 07 F150 that will be looking for a new home soon.

I'm researching something to monitor everything. Do you have any suggestions? I'm not into the pillar gauge look, I'm more looking for an all in one unit.

Thanks! Got any pics of yours lowered and is it 4x4. It will stay stock, I don't want the problems that come with modding. I got almost 18mpg not pulling over a 1450 mile trip. I'm hoping for 15 towing a 5000lb camper. Thanks for the info! I sent you a PM.

I did a little research and heard about the hard starts in cold cold weather and to be honest I haven't tried to start it unless it's at least 10 degrees outside. It seems to do ok when I do start it though. I'm in the process of ordering the heater cord and battery heaters. I'm really just trying not to drive it when real cold, I don't want to mess anything up.

I've rented an apt here so it's not needed anymore. I averaged almost 8mpg in the F150 pulling it here and seriously didn't think it would make it up some hills. I'm hoping for at least 14-15mpg pulling the camper and it weighs in at 5000 empty.

It's an 05 bone stock never modded with 48k miles on it. Picked it up for a real good price and then drove it 1450 miles back to ND and I averaged just under 18mpg. I've put another 1000 miles on it since being here and have no issues. It's my first diesel and it runs pretty strong. It should pull my camper with ease compared to my F150 with the 4.6. I have no plans to mod it other than a nice stereo system and rims. I'd drop it if it wasn't 4x4.
