this thread is awesome! Its a rehersal dinner for a wedding thats gonna be on a cruise ship friday. Im not sure why I was asked to attend since Im not in the wedding and Im not going on the cruise. I hope Im not in for any kind of surprise since I always thought rehersal dinners were for people in the wedding. I brought plenty of nice button up short sleeved shirts and a suit for the wedding but I only have shorts besides that. I went to an outlet mall and scooped me up some nice black slacks and a pair of black dress shoes that arent shiny.

After checking out the website for the place and seeing it wasnt a typical looking Chinese joint I called to find out what the dress code was if any and they told me casual formal. WTF does that mean? Does that mean I can wear anything from casual to formal?
