My brother was rear ended with his wife and 1 month old baby girl. They all took a ride in an ambulance to get checked out. No serious injurys. The Altima he was driving was totaled. The driver that hit them was messing with his GPS admitted to the police by his passenger and then the driver. Im not trying to make my brother look like big shit but he studied law for six years heavily. He went in head strong and tried to get more but settled for the 12k. I believe that the money they got for all three of them for injury was between 4200-4700. The rest of the 12k was for the hospital and aftercare dr. expenses which was paid for by their insurance. He really believed that they knew that insurance had already paid the medical and thats why they wouldnt pay out more. I believe that you could of gotten the whole 9k had you played it out. Every case isnt the same though.

I've become lost

My brother just settled with an insurance company without a lawyer. He used his insurance to pay for his dr. bills and ended up settling for 12k. His out of pocket expenses from co-pays and deductibles was under 1k. This was all done with-in 6 months of accident. Its better to do this kinda thing yourself. Insurance would rather not deal with lawyers who ambulance chase.

Ive got a 98 and have had it for several years and have pushed it hard. It has 140k on it and I am seeing signs of my tranny slipping. These engines are bullet proof and its really not expensive to replace things since they are pretty much a dime a dozen. I have no plans on getting rid of mine and actually wouldnt mind picking up another one day.
