  1. Very nice car, great minds think alike I guess.
  2. I thought the previews were funny, and I liked watching the originals with my dad when I was younger.
  3. I knew the internet was just a fad so I invested all my money in Pogs.
  4. That's a really cool seat. Obviously you know how lucky you are for having "traded" all that stuff for a life with a family and kids.
  5. Personally, I like the STi for off roadiness and sound, but I feel like the Evo is more oriented towards "fast" on the street or a track. Of course, none of this is based on any actual information or facts, it's just the impression I get from looking at them.
  6. Wow, the CTS-V is cool, but the cute kids are even cooler. CR sure does have some cool dads. Time for some Recaro car seats?
  7. Australia is like if Alabama were turned into an island and isolated for 100 years, so close enough.
  8. Thanks. it's nice not having to worry about rust or anything like that with the car. Silver wasn't my first choice but I decided I liked the more "grown up" vibe I got from Silver/Black.
  9. They were great to deal with, and yes, their dealership was full of super clean and super cool cars.
  10. Thanks everybody, the car is a true joy to drive, and I'm very impressed with the LS1 having only had 4cyl cars in the past. I hope I can take as good care of it as the previous owner did. To Doc and Shane, I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys again when I come up. Ya'll are super cool to hang out with and proof of how nice/welcoming people on CR are away from the keyboard. hahaha
  11. I just picked this car up and absolutely love it. It's a 2004 with 6-speed manual and it has 42K miles on it and it's in immaculate condition. Modifications are K&N CAI, larger throttle body, hooks headers, catless h-pipe, borla cat back, and a Hurst short shifter. The sound it makes and the power are amazing. This is my first domestic and I must say I'm not disappointed at all, the interior is very well put together with extremely comfortable seats. I'll be driving it up to Columbus in October so Thorne can tune it for me, and maybe stop by IPS for an upgrade or two. http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/001_4954.JPG http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/006_4961.JPG http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/003_4957.JPG http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/005_4960.JPG http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/041_4998.JPG
  12. The sad part is nobody is going to come out and say, "yeah, I beat up on it and drove it wrong so it broke", so your trying to give somebody a good deal because they are a friend/coworker/CR member/whatever always ends up with the person making you look like an asshole if anything does go wrong your fault or not. I feel for you because I'm sure your intentions were good. As much as I would have loved to give coworkers or friends good deals on cars I've sold, I've always told them that I wouldn't sell them to them because of the what if factor.
  13. I'm sure you already know by now, but this is why I never sell a used vehicle to someone I know or have a friendship with.
  14. I like me some Hamster. Man Lab is also pretty good.
  15. I've had the KDW2's before and loved them. Also, what year is your GTO, and what sizes are you looking at? Stock wheels/suspension?
  16. I read something about how they closed the loop hole shortly after they found out the dealer was selling them to the public, but I hope I'm wrong.
  17. BTW Paul, I'm coming to Columbus in a couple of months so if you are in town I can pay you your burrito.
  18. hahaha I was thinking the exact same thing while I was reading this thread, lol.
  19. My older sister has special needs and will have to be taken care of by me or my parents for the rest of her life. The main thing that's hard is constantly keeping in mind their limits and not having expectations that are too high.
