  1. Nah, it probably was hers. Most people who have money and drive super nice cars weather kit or not, cannot drive. Guess she thought that her tires were dry after driving through the water. If she would of stayed on the gas she probably would of been fine.
  2. after owning a nice set of tools and a tool box. then currently owning three chrysler products (dsm's). i would not wish that on anyone. ha
  3. the diesel drags are coming back to town this weekend or next i forget.
  4. i honestly hate this state worth a passion. people are nice and the pace is slow, but i hate local and state law enforcement.
  5. yeah, they all grind. i think what killed it was doing awd donuts in the middle of a field in the mud, in second gear. oh wel. time for another one
  6. evidently i did a awd burnout through the wet box. how this was I have no idea because I drove around it all. But this was an idiot down here at the track that said I did. I just told him spinning all four tires leaving the line, doesn't classify as a burnout.
  7. +1. Corvettes are not overrated, they are underrated. I have pulled 1.67g's in a z06 and I thought I was going to crash the company car on the off ramp, but nope, held its own. next the skyline is the closet thing to it, but if you turn it to track mod or turn on launch control your warranty is voided. I have saw many engines replaced in corvettes for free due to the warranty. I have saw many heavily modified z06's with bigger brakes, coil over suspension, etc, come into the plant and have a new motor put in. I really don't think nissan is going to warranty out the skyline if drive it like you stole it, which is what every corvette owner needs to do. Corvette owners have this bad rep of doing 45 in 6th gear, because they know what they have and don't have to be hammering on it all the time and taking corners at proper (fast) speeds. There is no way that anyone can ever flame a new vette. They are what we all want, a fast car with full suspension and big brakes, backed by a factory warranty, and a huge car scene and lots of friends that come with. The problem is most of us cannot afford them. flame war ended.
  8. ah haha. golden shower anyone?
  9. yeah. funny story. shattered the center diff in my first trans. so I purchased a sheptrans stage 3. after a few awd donuts in a field in front of the city municipal building, now that shit is grinding. Leave it to me to destroy a fully built trans.
  10. check it the pigs don't give us the flu. its the mexicans http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/04/30/ep.swine.flu.questions.answers/index.html
  11. agreed. but thats what the cavi is for. cause 6 days of the week my dsm is on jack stands. crank walk ain't really that common of a thing either. it just happens to be a fluke in some dsm's.
  12. 15.67 on my cavalier. now my talon.. don't want to think of that cause some months I have dropped upwards of 3 g's down, and other months like 500 or more. its the problem with owning a heavily modified car that breaks down a lot.
  13. sorry. ls6. too many forums at once.
  14. just call the store and ask for a 1983 corvette. or a headgasket for a 91 rx7, and after they tell you they can't get it, just ask for a valve cover gasket. don't forget the spark plugs on your duramax either.
