Can't the iPhone ask for the contacts through Bluetooth. I just did this when switching from iPhone to android. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Like the title says, I'm looking for a good Muncie 4 speed trans, preferably with the big block bell housing but not a big deal. Shifter a plus.

I took the trans off today and the dog legs for the pump would still pump fluid through the center of the input shaft when turned by hand. Also we think we correctly installed the torque converter this time as we actually felt it drop into place...got everything back assembled and it still wont move... should have just put a T56 behind it.

Ovens. I keep having a reoccurring dream that I'm being burnt alive. And someone cutting my face with a carpet knife. The sounds of metal on bone creep me the fuck out every time I think about it.

I had the pan off yesterday and there isnt known apparent damage. The trans yoke is leaking at the air weep hole in between the u-joint saddles. Apparently I over filled the trans. Consistent fluid level data on the internet would be helpful...

 

Tomorrow I pull the trans and seat that torque converter.

 

How did you guys know the pump was destroyed? Was there any noise?

Has anyone not had the converter seat all the way, hook everything up put it in gear and have fluid exit from your trans yoke. Not the seal but the actual yoke itself?

 

All of this because I didn't hear three distinct clicks when seating the torque converter. Sorry to rant. I should have went T56...

 

My thoughts are that the fluid is being forced to the tail shaft due to the tq converter not being fully in place. Any thoughts?

Ive owned both a Raptor and a 450 with a 480ci kit Yamaha. At 6' I enjoyed the 450 more due to the race suspension set up from the factory. The Raptor always wanted to wheelie through third/fourth gear and got old real fast. The front end felt heavy taking it over jumps as well.

 

I like bombing through the woods, hill climbs and flat out speed. The 450 would eat that raptor's ass for lunch and give you change back.

I got a stock 3.42 which is what slp/ss cars has. The differentila needs spiders gears replaced althought it is still rather quite as it. The abs stuff is messed up but is other wise a good ls1 diff. You can come get it for 200

Anyone have a 3000 stall for a LS 4l60e? Looking for something used but not damaged.

I have a TBSS TC, but why do you want one of these, they stall low. Better off with a straight 6 trailblazer TC from what I understand.

 

Ah. I was under the impression that the SS offered a 1600-1800 rpm stall. I figure in my Sonoma it would stall high and tight.

Im in a need of a LS style 4L60e 3000 stall torque converter and a 4th gen differential out of a SLP car SS/transAm. Preferably neither have to rebuilt and are in good mechanical shape.
