  2. haha yea, like I said, just doing research, so that even if I cant afford it now, later in life ill have knowledge and when I'm ready for something like that. I'll pretty much know what to expect. Oh I'm aware of the fact that I couldn't possibly afford something like that right now, hell the day before I was just trying to come up with a way to cheaply build a FC all under 2-3k so yea I already know. I'm just researching and decided to ask others because they would have more knowledge then I would on this so, thanks for those who responded with valuable info, and I guess I'll still be waiting to hear from doc because hes the most experienced individual in this, even though I know it probably wont happen till I'm his age.

  3. yea I was going to send him a PM but didn't. Well im just lookin around and saw a skyline for £3,700 coming from the UK and then started thinking "yea the car is cheap but you gotta think how much it would be to have it shipped and would it even pass inspection?" So yea its pretty much a loss cause in my book unless i hit the mega millions.
  4. The 13B-REW (the TT as you alluded to) from the FD is a whole different animal to go into a FC.

     

    I'd say if you want turbocharged fun look into finding a 13B-T (the motor from the TII).

     

    If you want my horribly honest opinion, don't buy a N/A FC and try to turbo it. If you want a turbo go with a TII from the get go and save yourself A TON of trouble. Either that or go with keeping the FC N/A and stripping it down and having fun with it as-is.

     

    yea i changed my mind and decided to go with the tII instead

    Well its for sale for 600 dollars, everything with it. just the front apex seals are blown, so what i was thinking about doing is swapping out the motor/tranny and swapping out the driveshaft and rear end with the matching setup.

  5. thats what i'm thinking hell there is a swap kit for most of the popular motors 5.0, lsx, 2.3t, 3800, 4g63t, etc...

     

    who the fuck buys a blown up rx-7 and fixes the rotary?

    Someone(me) that has intentions of buying it for less then 700 dollars and doing a motor swap.

  6. Im in the thought process of buying a 90 rx-7 with a 13b motor that has blown apex seals, its not turboed, but its a 5speed. Im planning on getting a 13b-tt and doing a swap. Whats the difference between a 13b 5spd tranny and a 13b-tt 5 spd tranny?
  7. if the same plan goes on for next sunday, im in. just need to find the right size paint for my gun, and need a mask. woods for me though since im rockin a 98 tipp with a flatline barrel i got a bunch of paint that i cant use if anyone wants. never been opened though however its probably 2 years old haha. though i opened a bag of it 3 weeks ago and shot just fine. its just the whitebox (hotspot) crap i got when i worked at the land.
  8. so i need someone to build a sub box that looks kind ofr like this:http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m266/cjmorton132003/boxlayout.png it needs to be 2.5 cubic ft. that will hold 2 12"s i want the amp to be counter sunk. And im trying to decide if i want the connection terminals going through the counter sunk side or through the back. someone shoot me a quote and maybe we can work something out.

    i was giving two different scenarios as to how this could have happened. I was trying to say if both of the lanes were going in the same direction, or if each lane has its own direction. but i know residential areas are one lane each way. so never mind my original post
