Prediction OSU 45 TCU 24 I think Haskins lights it up. I think TCU is going to bring pressure to stop the run and try to disrupt Haskins but I think he hits our fast receivers in 1 on 1 coverage streaking across the middle and they break some long runs. The only area I am a little nervous about is our speed at LB against some of the weapons TCU has on the edge. If we can contain them, I don't see their offense being a big issue. I think Dobbins has a big game as well, playing back home. Who knows which receiver steps up. I guess that depends on which one Haskins throws to because I think there's a good chance any of them could be open on any play. The rare luxary we have. Go Bucks!

The only real weak point I think we have currently is our LBs and that’s due to inexperience. I think our defense in particular will be elite by mid season if it’s not already

I won my parlay last week so I figured I'll keep it rolling. The 4 teams I have this week are... Ohio State (-13.5) TCU LSU Auburn (-9) Houston (-1) Texas Tech Middle Tennessee Georgia (-33)

Pumped to see Haskins and our receivers play at Jerry World. Ohio State has had a lot of success there the past few years and I heard a stat that Big 12 teams are 0-11 since Jerry World opened playing non-conference opponents. Our receivers should be able to showcase their speed here and now we have a QB who can get them the ball. I think if our D can hold up, we could make a statement Saturday.

A lot of the hope I have for the season will diminish if week 4 against Tulane we see Haskins run the ball 10-12 times. I'm pretty pumped to see us against a real team this week. I think most of us Buckeye fans can see our potential this year, this TCU game will be a validation game for us I think. Even though it's practically a home game for TCU, it's a place where we have had a lot of success and I see that trend continuing this week. Dobbins looked pretty good but it honestly looks like he's a step slower than last year. We have 6-7 receivers who can all create separation and make big plays. As a defense, what's your game plan to slow down our offense? Is there one?

Oh okay. Thanks man. You’re a really cool guy. You’re really smart too and I’m sure you have a ton of friends. Keep up the good work, cool guy

My buddy from high school still works there I think. Jaydee Bravard -
He adds depth. I bet he plays.

Week 1 takeaways -Dwayne Haskins and the Ohio State offense is really f*cking good. The defense and special teams need some work. Fuller and Hooker returning should help the secondary out and mitigate some of those big plays. We won't really know until week 3 against TCU. -The B1G East reputation is vulnerable right now. Michigan looks like the same Michigan, solid defense with a laughable offense. Penn State and Michigan State got taken to wire against low level competition. 1st game jitters? Possibly. We used to see it often under Tress so I wouldn't count them out just yet. Both have tougher matchups this week to prove themselves. -The Florida teams outside of UCF and the Gators are heading the wrong direction. The SEC West might be the best division this year, but again it's just 1 week so let's wait and see. -Nick Saban is a dick, but I hate ESPN more than Alabama so I don't mind him calling out their reporters. Week 2 predictions Rutgers 17 @ Ohio State 63 Georgia 34 @ South Carolina 17 Clemson 38 @ Texas A&M 20 Penn State 31 @ Pittsburgh 24 USC 24 @ Stanford 28 Michigan State 27 @ Arizona State 31 I think the big upset watch is Michigan State @ Arizona State. I think MSU is more than capable of winning, but ASU looked MUCH MUCH better week 1 after watching both teams play. I think that will be a good one to watch though. I'm curious to see Weber and Dobbins week 2. How both respond. How Weber responds to an incredible game and how Dobbins responds to taking a back seat to Weber's great game. I hope it makes Dobbins more hungry to get better, because he didn't look like the same back from a year ago. Looked a step slower. Bosa is a monster. The kid might be better than his brother, or at least as good which is nuts because Joey was a man child who dominated the game also. Haskins looked incredible out there. The best pure passing I've ever seen from a Buckeye QB and that includes Troy Smith. His arm strength is incredible and his accuracy is equally incredible. He gets the ball out of his hand as quick or quicker than anyone I've ever seen in college. He looks like an NFL quarterback already. The offensive line looked great. It was against a weak opponent but it was nice to see them dominate because we've seen our O-line especially early in the year look suspect against weaker competition. Overall I think this team clearly has the pedigree to get to the playoffs and win it all. We will have to wait and see how they handle adversity though. We need the B1G to impress non-conference to ensure we don't have to have a perfect season just to get a shot. So far, not so good but it's still early.

Well I got the LSU one right too. But yeah, not super proud of my picks/analysis over the weekend but it was week 1 which means a lot of guessing. Moving forward should be better as we see teams and players play. I’ll write up another one for this upcoming week later today

Yeah it's almost like UCF stole the top Florida schools powers. Rank the Florida schools right now, I'd have it... 1) UCF 2) Florida 3) Miami 4) South Florida 5) Florida State

Burrow played well. LSU’s offensive line was questionable and the receivers dropped some passes. I’m rooting for Jeaux Burreaux but OSU picked the better of the 2
-
Excited to see Burrow tonight. Definitely rooting for him
-
Is it that farfetched?

Haskins looked better

Yeah I think 1, people are all the sudden doubting Ohio State because of the whole scandal thing and 2, they're anticipating Wisconsin getting out of the regular season with 0-1 loss because of their side of the division. Even though, that's not how rankings should be determined week 1, I think it's playing a part. I honestly see Penn State finishing 4th in the B1G East. I think they're a tough team, but they lost some key guys, mainly Barkley. I guess the way I look at it, I think Penn State got slightly worse and I think everyone else got slightly better. I don't think McSworley is this world beater people are making him out to be either, but I guess we will see. I'm taking Michigan by less than a TD in the ND game. Michigan's schedule is so brutal, they absolutely need to win in my opinion.

Gonna go ahead and make some predictions... Season and Week one here My Final 4 Alabama Ohio State Washington Clemson B1G Winner Ohio State over Wisconsin Heisman (Homer) Haskins or Tua Week 1 Ohio State 56 Oregon State 10 Washington 27 Auburn 24 Michigan 21 Notre Dame 20 Miami 20 LSU 28 Virginia Tech 27 Florida State 34 Ohio State players to look out for: Offense Dwayne Haskins - I think he could be the most gifted passing QB tOSU has ever had. We will wait and see J.K. Dobbins - Maybe one of the most exciting players in all of college football. Every time he touches the ball, watch out. If he's gained some top end speed, it's a done deal for the B1G. Parris Cambell - One of the most dynamic play makers in college football. He is our new Curtis Samuel with more of a receiving aspect to him. Benjamin Victor - He is my somewhat under the radar guy to watch out for. Tall, fast, good hands. He reminds me of a young AJ Green. Watch out for him. Tate Martell - Don't know exactly what his role will be in our offense, but when he plays, watch out. The kid reminds me of an even quicker Braxton. He needs to work on his passing ability but that will come. I expect to see him in some 3rd and shorts. Defense: Nick Bosa - Could be a defensive heisman watch player for obvious reasons Chase Young - Kid is supposedly very special. Extremely strong, quick and athletic. Tuf Borland - Unsure if he's going to go Saturday but he's as tough as they come. One of the prototypical LBs that we have come through tOSU. He will be fun to watch. Jeffrey Okudah - He's the next great DB to come out of tOSU to add to our laundry list of greats we've produced over the past 5-10 years. This might be the most talented team we've ever had. I'd put it right there with the 2014 or 2015 team. Time will tell if they can put it all together. I really cannot wait to see our offense with 2 incredible backs and a QB with a serious arm. I think defenses are going to be stunned at what hit them.

White people = no excuse for not being successful Black people = every excuse for not being successful You're just like the welfare system Kerry. Keep patting people on the back telling them it's okay, you just don't have the opportunity. The only people keeping certain groups down are people like yourself. Instead, why don't you tell people to have a positive attitude and stop blaming society for their mishaps. Everyone goes through various struggles in life, some look to point the finger (people like you) some decide to suck it up and don't accept that's the way it needs to be. This country is being ruined by pussy boys like yourself. Real men are a dying breed. God help us

All the dirt poor whites in Appalachia should cash in their white privelege checks.
-
Using the race card or gender card for why you're not successful is a sorry excuse. People need to start being accountable for their own lives and stop playing the victim.
-
Because I don't actually think any group is hated like the left wants us to think. I think there certainly are groups of people who hate (very small percentage) but it's not limited to just females, gays or minorities. For example I'd say there are an equal amount (percentage wise) of black people who hate white people as white people who hate black people.

I don't know anyone personally that hates me.
