I think Ohio State is better than all of those teams except MAYBE Alabama. Clemson gets in because they're the defending national champs. Oklahoma gets innover OSU because of Head to Head. Notre Dame gets in because their a huge ratings pull and a media darling. ND is likely a 1 year rental, they could easily win 7-8 games next year while OSU will be national title contenders again year after year so they're gonna give ND the spotlight while they have the chance. Don't worry though, that's not how it'll play out. Teams will lose.

Kerry likes to make everything about race and discrimination

It's statements like these that make me glad you don't work in politics and aren't anybody that can shape public policy.
-
In that scenario it would be... SEC Winner Notre Dame Clemson Oklahoma
-
Alabama's schedule Florida State (2-5) Fresno State (5-3) Colorado State (6-3) Vanderbilt (3-5) Texas A&M (5-3) Arkansas (3-5) Tennessee (3-5) The best win so far for Alabama is Texas A&M who has received 4 votes in the coaches poll. Alabama won that came 27-19. Color me not impressed... Why are we supposed to "assume" Alabama is this world beater of a team? If we are supposed to subjectively look at these teams from an unbiased standpoint starting a clean slate each year, why isn't Alabama down there with Miami and Wisconsin at the back end of the top 10? Why do we make special rules for them? It's like the committee sets it up for Alabama and Georgia to both make the playoff as long as they both go undefeated and play a close game in the SEC CG. That's bullshit. The committee picks and chooses it's criteria differently for each team.

The SEC goes Georgia Alabama Auburn Everyone else

Every year everyone thinks the top 4 will remain in tact. It never does. At least 3 teams from the top 6 lose at least 1 more game. Buckeyes win out and their in.
-
What I hope happens tonight is the committee puts Ohio State outside of the top 4. I know I can't be alone here Buckeye fans, right? At this point, we probably don't deserve a top 4 ranking and we have a young team that I believe could get complacent if enough people pat them on the back and tell them how good they are. I think one way that could happen is placing us in the top 4 and we lose our edge. We have been playing with an intensity and sense of purpose since the OU loss. I want us to be on the outside looking in, so our guys feel like they still need to earn it.

If that's actually true then thanks MLB for taking a World Series away from Cleveland. Glad I haven't watched a game since we lost.

Maybe this is why Kluber couldn't control any of his pitches?

Here's my playoff 4 as of today 1) Georgia - One of the best wins of the year against ND and dominant in every other game 2) Alabama - Haven't beaten anyone with a pulse but it's Bama and their undefeated. 3) Notre Dame - I HATE THEM. But I have to give respect where it's due. Lots of quality wins with their only loss being by 1 point against my #1 team. 4) Ohio State - 1 loss against a top 10 team but make up for that with dominating wins and a great win against what was the #2 team in the country. They control their own destiny. Just outside 5) Clemson - 1 bad loss but a few really good wins. They pass the eye test 6) Oklahoma - One of the best wins in the country and their 1 loss isn't looking too bad now. 7) Penn State - A few good wins but their 1 point loss against the Buckeyes will likely keep them on the outside looking in unless something dramatic happens at the top. 8) Wisconsin - Literally 0 quality wins so far but if they win out and beat the B1G East champ (likely OSU) they'll be a lock to get in. 9) Miami - Literally 0 quality wins but if they win out and beat likely Clemson in the ACC CG, they'll be a lock. 10) TCU - Some good wins on their schedule, but they'll need to win out and win the B12 CG to have a shot at getting in.

I lost a lot of respect for one of my buddy's who I've watched probably 3-4 games with this year. I called him after the game to see what he was doing and asked him what he thought about the game... "I didn't even watch it, did we win?" He replied. I shook my head in disgust. Won't watch a game with him again probably ever unless we're out at a bar and it's against some joke. I only like watching games with people who care. Sorry, this sounds like a knock on you, it's not. I just thought I could quote your post to mention my buddy. At least you knew the game was on and watched it.

Yep. Literally lost all interest. I'm a sour grape :fa:

I think Scott Frost at UCF will go to Florida or Nebraska at the end of the year

We won't really know how good Alabama is until the last week of the season, possibly not even until the SEC CG because we really don't know how good Auburn is but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Ohio State has the best win of the season right now. Watching that game last night OSU looked about 3 TDs better than PSU. It was the ticky tack nik nak shit that made that game close. That's what was going to piss me off the most if we lost because it was clear we were the better team. We need that OSU team to show up the rest of the year and the playoffs assuming we win out. @Iowa will be tougher than people think. Similar to this game, Iowa is scrappy and even though you might be 3-4 TDs better, they'll find a way to hang around and keep it close
-
Lauren logic: 2014 Alabama is the best because look at their tough schedule! 2017: Alabama is great because they haven't lost and that's all that matters

A lot of us including myself need to eat crow when it comes to JT now. He's a legitimate heisman contender. This is the best crow I've ever eaten

Most intense game I think I've ever watched

Do owners bare any burden on paying for these arenas? I mean do they even pay a percentage or does the city/tax payers pay for their arena while they bring in the profits?

This is definitely one of the best matchups of the year. Both teams are very even and it's pretty much a toss-up. Here's how I'd break it down... Coaching - Edge to OSU now that Wilson seems to be controlling the offense more. Passing- Wash, maybe slight edge to PSU. Barrett has better stats but McSworley has more proven big games. This could go either way. Rushing - Wash. Penn State has the best RB but OSU has the best stable. I think rushing stats will be fairly even. Defensive Line - Edge to OSU. One of the best in the country and tough to run on. This will be Barkley and OSU's D-Lines toughest test of the year. Two goliaths battling it out. Defensive Backs - Edge to PSU. As stated earlier, OSU has had it's struggles covering downfield, particularly middle of the field. I would expect Barkley to have a bigger game receiving than rushing exploiting OSU's LBs poor ability to cover the middle of the field. Special Teams - Edge to PSU. Ohio State has struggled on special teams this year and seems to be a common thing with Meyers teams for some reason. Beings this isn't a night game at the shoe I'm going to give a ever so slight edge to the Buckeyes. This game is honestly impossible to predict. Heisman invitations are on the line here too. If PSU wins and Barkley shines, he's pretty much a lock for at least an invitation. If OSU wins and Barrett shines, he proves all the haters (including myself) wrong and gets right back in the discussion. I know one thing is for sure, it's going to be fun!

This game next week is going to be insane

Dude go read the end of page 2 again. Christ... :dumb:

What do you mean average gate?

What about using tax payer money to pay for a brand new stadium? I'd be willing to bet 98.5% of the people in this country has no idea Columbus even has a soccer team to begin with.
-
No lol I just don't really care. I literally could give 2 fucks about the Columbus Crew going away. Never watched a game and never will. If I did care about soccer, it wouldn't be MLS (Minor League Soccer). After seeing everyone cry about it, I kinda hope they do move just to piss people like you off
