  1. That's like my dream weekend toy. Datsun 260/80z with an LS swap turbo car. Good luck!
  2. Who does pass the eye test so far this year? The only teams I can really think of are Oklahoma and maybe Clemson so far. Alabama hasn't look impressive IMO. No but when comparing 2 teams where team A went out of their way to play a tough non-conference opponent where as team B chose to take the easy route and play garbage out of conference how can you reward team B?
  3. Completely moronic statement. It's called the eye test.
  4. So let's say Alabama played Clemson 2nd week of the season and lost a nail biter 34-31 in a great game they should be below let's say an Oklahoma State team who has 3 wins against Georgia Southern, Texas State and UT San Antonio?
  5. So because Wisconsin has been played literally nobody they're better than a team who has played a top 3 team and lost? So essentially what you're saying is play nobody's and stay undefeated and we will recognize you as better. Well not just you, clearly the AP voters think so too. Teams get punished for playing a hard schedule now :dumb: I'm pretty worried about Penn St. The McSorley and Barkley combo is pretty insane. I think Barkley is the best player in college football and McSorley is top 5, at least offensively. They have a stout defense too. It's hard for me to see us beating them how we're playing now. The little bubble screen and designed QB rush with a slow QB works fine against teams like Army and UNLV but it's been proven time and time again it won't work against anyone with a solid defense.
  6. Rocket Man vs. Dotard :lolguy: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/22/world/asia/trump-north-korea-dotard.html
  7. Nice! Looks like a bigger version of my bike
  8. What about like Hocking Hills area? Buckeye Lake?
  9. That game was crazy. I was pulling for Texas. That freshmen QB they have is about as clutch as it gets. Too bad he got stood up and stripped to lose the game though...
  10. Haskins HAS to be the starter. Dude can zip the ball
  11. Depending on how crazy busy these things are, this could make living in Columbus and working in Chicago a viable option and vice versa. Imagine that
  12. Man I hope this happens A half-hour ride from Columbus to Chicago is one step closer. Hyperloop One named a Chicago-Columbus-Pittsburgh route as one of 10 worldwide the startup will seek to develop for its ultra-fast tube transportation system. The proposal by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission had been whittled from 2,600 submissions made since May 2016. The 488-mile Midwest Connect is one of four U.S. winners – Los Angeles-based Hyperloop One initially planned to select three, but ended up with 10 in the United States, Mexico, Canada, India and United Kingdom. There's no projected cost or construction time line. The company said it "will commit meaningful business and engineering resources" alongside the winning teams to determine if the projects will be commercially viable. Hyperloop One told MORPC the project won because of the multi-state public-private coalition involved in the proposal and because of the lack of any direct rail connection between the cities. The new infrastructure would "create a Midwest mega-region to rival the country’s coastal economic powerhouses," it said. The company broke speed records with its latest test runs in August in the Nevada desert. See more about MORPC's proposal here and how the transportation method would work here. https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2017/09/14/hyperloop-one-chooses-chicago-columbus-pittsburgh.html?ana=e_colum_bn&u=11783376504e4d0dc66085d5f07cdb&t=1505403198&j=78821091
  13. Probably. Nobody wants to go watch a handicapped offense anymore
  14. I'd agree with that. If Joe Burrows was healthy, I wouldn't doubt we'd see him in the game this week. I think that is the only other QB Urban is comfortable with. Edit: Just read Joe Burrows is probable for this weeks game. I doubt he sees any action unless we're up big though and even then I wouldn't be surprised if we see Haskins instead
  15. I promise if our offense can pick it up the defense will follow. We allowed 3 points in the first half to Oklahoma, a program known for having historically great offenses. 3 POINTS! Take the Clemson game last year for example. Our defense played really well but gave up 31 points. I blame the offense for that and anyone watching the game would agree. Fix our offense and the defense will follow.
  16. We also played 2 of the better pass offenses in the country. Just watch and see
  17. Excited for that and the new gym going in over where cup o joe and johnny rockets used to be.
  18. Don't tell me about Dalton. I was the moron who drafted him in fantasy as my 2nd QB (2 quarterback league) and he got me a whopping -2.5 points. I literally would have been better leaving that slot open for net of 0 points :dumb:
  19. Have you tried driving down Sullivant Ave? Word on the street, best bang for your buck.
  20. We should be blaming Urban for not taking JT out by now. It's not JT's fault he severely lacks the ability to make great throws down field. He's just trying his best. We have guys on the bench that have to be better passers than them. The only time QB should have a designed run is it's a 4th and 1 QB sneak or you have Braxton Miller as your QB. The only other time a QB should run is when the play breaks down. I am so fucking sick of this QB draw bullshit. It's so boring and gets us nowhere. JT is slower than he was his freshmen year and the QB draws aren't working. He can't consistently make a good pass over 10 yards so the defense just plays up and stops the run. We need a guy who can come in and stretch out the defense so guys like Weber and Dobbins and gash them when the defense is forced to be honest. Our defense is fine. It's looked suspect because our offense can't stay on the field long enough to give the defense a break. The first half of the Indiana game was a fluke. Lagow was making Peyton Manning throws and Cobbs Jr was Randy Mossing us. Nobody was going to stop that. Baker Mayfield is a different animal. We held them to 3 points in the first half. He broke down our defense partly because they were visibly tired and because his ability to prolong a play for 6-7 seconds which makes it very difficult for DBs to stick with their guys that long especially when they're already tired. I'm telling you, fix the horrid offense and the defense will be fine.
