  1. I would check dealer first.. Other wise replace it. Just my .02
  2. Is it a metal tank? Or plastic.. Would probably be easier replacing.. Not sure if its expired or not, but there was a recall on the fuel tanks for leaking.. Maybe call the kia dealer and find out if they will still cover it? Model: Sportage Group: Fuel System(14) Number: KT2006050901 Date: Thursday, May 11, 2006 This bulletin provides information related to a service campaign to inspect the fuel tank on certain 1996 - 2002 Sportage models. This service campaign is in response to an inquiry by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) involving possible fuel leakage, mainly in older Sportages.
  3. When he tried returning it they wouldn't let him because they falsely accused him of trying to rip best buy off. If they would have said "Oh, ok.. Cant believe that happened.. Here is a new one.." Then nothing would have came about it. After going to 3 stores and getting the same answer, he was at a dead end with no answer to get his shit replaced. He had to contact the news and get public about his issue to get it resolved. I think he should be compensated for being sold something like that and being accused of ripping them off..
  4. I too would have sued them or demanded in store credit for all the trouble he had to go through to get it replaced.. I would have been so pissed off when they said I was trying to scam them..
  5. Hope I can go this year! All depends on job situation..

  8. We were talking about going to a building downtown in daylight for pictures. But will probably be back downtown soon. We will let u know. Probably enough parking for 8-10 people. We were just talking about that last night. Thanks
  9. I still stick with hoover. I head dyson is good but $$$. I have a hoover vacuum that does tall, short carpet and bare floor. And a Hoover steam cleaner.
  10. I had the same issue this year. The AC would shut off but the blower motor kept going. Hvac friend Said to leave it run and tap the relays on the circuit board with a screw driver. Sure enough a couple light taps and it shut down. I really haven't had an issue with it since. But my guess is when it comes back ill need a new circuit board as the relays are not replaceable. I also removed the thermostat wires on the unit to make sure thermostat wasn't bad. It was still running.
  11. I just saw one the other day that a guy bought a iPhone off eBay. It has a little light in it that makes it look like it needs charged and won't turn on. Here it is. http://brk.to/1of1

  18. Sadly I have seen numerous people scuff on concrete. And I always laugh. But when I worked at Midas they used duracrap autozone pads and scuffing the pad was the only way to keep them from making noise when stopping. I did at least 10 brake jobs a day there and never had come backs.
  19. They do make camo plasti-dip. :gabe:
  20. It's suppose to "wear them in". Although I normally just use a piece of 1000 grit sand paper to scuff them.
  21. It can be applied to anything without prep.. On chrome, paint, wheels, plastic.. Just clean it good, and spray..
