Vacuume leak, oil getting back on that plug? Not sure man. Maybe now that you have the basics done, it can go to a shop to get that issue resolved. Before you put another starter on it.

Those old cars were sweet.. Did you happen to talk to the old man that drove the "lavender" caddy. He said it had 49k original miles. And its NEVER been garaged..

Haha, yeah I'm surprised no one has said anything. I'm going to change the font.. I need something different, just not sure how to put it on the computer. Most of my pictures Were way too bright. And I couldn't tell that on my display because of the overcast. So I had to tone them down in photoshop.

Ill be leaving pickerington around 10:00-10:30, last year they let people in early.. And I dont feel like waiting in line.. So if anyone see's the jeep, give me a shout

If you got it from a different supplier, the original one should have returned you a starter. Or pay you the core cost of going to another parts store.. You shouldnt be left having to find a core to turn in. My .02, and no I dont have a starter.. lol

Yeah that's where I got mine. Although I got a 2xl and not a 3xl. So I should sell it and get a 3xl.

Yeah he sold me the cowl hood. I miss that ram. But the jeep is a lot more fun.

That I don't know. I don't wet sand between each coat. I put 2 costs of niteshades, 5 costs of clear. Wet sand smooth. Polish / buff. And mine come out very good.

I always wet sand the clear coat on tails. Make sure the entire light is smooth and dull. And once you put the compound on it makes it look like a mirror. I forget what stuff I use. I've done 5-6 sets of lights.

Not sure why my post didn't post. Even if the starter needed shimmed, the solenoid would not just go bad. You would hear noise from the flywheel teeth. Are the starters being tested when returned? You made have some sort of electrical issue that is shorting the coil assembly and starter solenoid. But I would think you would have more issues than you have if that were the case.
