As I was on my phone in the parking lot, you should have heard how many people said it was a turbo.... then they wanted to know why a belt was running the turbo...

You're best option is to take it to a shop with a scan tool. Let them record live data while driving and when it acts up find out what went wrong. . Then it's easier to trace wires.
Sounds to me like a loose or bad connection somewhere.
If your jump starting it and its driving fine I would doubt its the alternator.. But I would test it with a DVOM when its dead.
On new cars do NOT remove a battery cable to see if it stalls. You can fry the PCM by doing that.
You can drive down main st in whitehall, there are like 5 used tire places. They typically are not the cheapest places to get them. But you can haggle.
Not sure about dodge, but when I was a toyota tech we didnt get any discount on parts.. As far as programming it, they could probably hook you up on that.
Pick up a lens filter, it will help your shots a lot...
Your photo's have the good idea, but lights are too light and darks are too dark.. a filter will help if you have the settings correct.
Did you post what camera you are using? DSLR?
What are you shooting with?
I like the first photo the best but I am really picky about straitening photo's.. the angle of the phone ruins it
I tried to do a quick edit with what you posted..
