  1. As I sit here trying to remember domestic ricers revving at me 2 occasions come to mind. Not Brian when he used to have the Fireturd and Carlyle in the mustang.

    Change domain name to Columbusdomesticricers.com?

  2. You are special, arnt ya boy. I feel horribly bad after reviewing your past threads and post I should not be making fun of some one with such " Handicaps " we can call it

My past threads were nothing serious. Mainly boredom, trolling, and calling people out. I really dont mind airing out personal details of my life I habe nothing to hide.

Hasn't anyone told you about new guys jumping in and attacking long term members? Yeah youre right. I must be the idiot here. :gabe:

  3. Well now we know who wants a ride on the old splaty express. I have an idea for you acklac........ Go fuck your self or just let splat do it

Splatty express? If youre implying you'd like acklac7 and I to run a train on you, it wont happen. Fss may be down though.

  4. So let me see if I understand.

Dude is building a rocketship his old lady sleeps around on him with what I am assuming is another cr member/members. The guy is living with his brother ( why is he building a car) as well as his now ex old lady and by the sounds of it they lived there for awhile. Was the brother tapping it as well?

You're about 3 years late to the party and your version is inaccurate. Hop off my dick newb.

  5. Oh, don't get to worried, these cars being newer (OBD2), you won't have to change much. The ecm will pretty much control the engine independently, and the engine harness will plug right in.

Requirements for custom wiring generally come in on things that must communicate inside the car. Signals to the instrument cluster, alarm/security, etc... Usually not to hard, just comes down to locating the wire/pin on each cars schematic.

This is the area you see a lot of "unfinished" swaps, car runs and drives, but has no speedo, or the tach doesn't work, or the a/c doesn't work. You may have to make custom a/c hoses.

Im not using any wiring from the gtp though. Ive read I will need to extend the map sensor wiring and add boost bypass wiring to tune the stock ecu, beyond that I'm really not sure what wiring changes I'll need to make.

  6. Just a quick update, I finally managed to get some time to work on the car, I've got the old motor out and I'm swapping parts and mounts over to prepare the gtp drivetrain to go in. Here's a few progress pics http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb244/98xploder/20151012_205855_zpsmyo9fsgs.jpg

  7. Yep, Brian was the real genius when it came to wiring those swaps. That firewall connection on the OBD1's was a nightmare. I built a few, and put axles together for people. The other guys screen name was lakefx, he built the site.

The good ole days. You had a lumina, do you remember that guy that swapped the z34 before any of us, and got busted online for running from the cops?

Sorry for the thread jack o p, but that thread won't be too bad, you may have to move a few pins on the wiring harness to have all of your accessories.

Can you elaborate on the wiring changes? Im using the Impala harness.

The blower makes up for it. :gabe:

I can't help but think this is being over thought.

:lolguy: touche sir. I think I'll stick with the full swap though.
  8. Apparently you left before you got to know the_buster. Read his past threads and educate yourself. Perhaps you'll see why he should definitely not buy a Miata and turbo it.

I glanced through. I almost forgot about the mountain dew tattoo. :lolguy:

I retract my previous statement, a turbo install may be too challenging. Better stick to wheels and drop springs.
